Modern University Lot
I disliked the the maxis university. I wanted a more modern looking one, and so I lotted one. It uses the california plaza model from maxis which fits the bill quite well. You can plop the lot several times next to each other to create a bigger university that looks like it's just one.

Dependencies
.: buildings as props (download it from Screwpile Developements - Maxis Files)
Network Addon Mod

kinda huge...nicely fitted, and perfectly structured. My only problem would be that all buildings are the same...I think that kinda would stick out in any city, especially at this size. Great job though 4/5

It is definitly the best maxis lot I've seen. But it is repetative. 2 buildings would've been enough.

I agree with your rationale behind creating this lot, and it is nicely lotted, but I second others that having 3 of the same buildings is not the greatest idea. I look forward to your re-release of another modern University Campus!

I agree, this is a fantastic example of a Maxis re-lot! I also agree that it would be better if the three buildings varied, but only if they were similarly styled and shared the same/similar footprints. Despite this unavoidable limitation, this is a great lot! I may find a use for it :D

Use the building twice and then use the "Living Mall" landmark...I tend to pair these 2 landmarks together...you could call the California Plaza structures classroom buildings and make the "Mall" a student union! Nice work so far, but more variety is needed.

Pretty sweet lot, especially with no depends and all Maxis stuff. I actually don't mind all the buildings looking exactly the same...I've seen a few schools and universities designed with many very similar structures. 5/5

I agree that it's modern but Three california plazason one lot is uh.....repetetive and there doesn't seem to be much creative use of props and textures sooo.

Well done! I don't mind the repetitions at all, I mean the default uni isn't a masterpiece of variety either. I definitly prefer this modern looking piece. Thanks.

This is truly the best lot using Maxis buildings! 5/5 I want to see what you come up with next! Universtities actually have repetetive buildings, some of them. The campas is amazingly planned out! Makes me want to BAT that school that's right next to One Brooklyn Bridge Plaza(the low-rise caslte structure).

Excellent work ! It's not often I see Maxis re-lots that I would want to download. However you have really done a great job. I could care less that the buildings are the same either. I actually think it looks good like that ! 5/5

This deserves more than a 4.03, I hope to see atleast at 4.50 soon, this is really great for a re-lotted maxis thing.

even though this is a re hashed maxis building, the lot more than makes up for it, and the end result is quite nice. although it could use some parking lots :P =)

Nicely done. I won't critique as bad as the others mainly because something is better than nothing tbh. Great job but now that you have gotten your feet wet, could you do another perhaps a mega pack of four? I see the talent there just maybe need the encouragement to go for it.

Doesn't really look like any of the Universities around here, but it's probably the best Maxis re-lot I've seen in a long time. Actually, it kind of looks like the corporate headquarters of some Fortune 500 tech company, it's going to work great for my Silicon Valley map!

I actually like the idea of the same buildings for the university as have seen it many times, so it doesn't look unreal. Very nice idea and lot. Thanks.
