About This File

Do you want a building with lots of office space that has a low impact on your city? Then Oakridge Center is for you. The building is 340m tall, with 83 floors and various enviormantally freindly features. The most noticalble are the roof gardens and solar panels, The solar panels provide some of the buildings heat and power. There is also a rainwater collection system and themally insulated windows that keep the building from loosing its cool or hor air.

ok...i love the building itself. But the night-lighting is more suited to a residential structure then it is an office building. I see the building behind and to the left in the night picture...with that kind of look...several panels lit in a row, and a more of it dark...it would look more like most of the workforce has gone home. As it is, it looks like a tower of apartments with everyone home. Just a thought.

I really like the style of the building, but I also have a remark regarding the nightlighting: there is one illuminated window in the top-most row although it seems as if there is no floor but just some kind of wall surrounding the solar panels. Maybe a bit to picky, its just a thought...

Solar panels could use some work and the nightlighting is sloppy, but this is definetely a 4.8-4.9 IMO so 5/5. I love the design and the creativity [spelling fail].

Fantastic! This may be your best work to date! The texture for the solar panels could be different though. A definite 5/5

Incredible! Your skills only look like they got better. I like the angular, terraced look of the building. 5/5

Great work! I'm really looking forward to putting this in my city! The fact that this building is "green" is an added bonus. 6/5! ; )

I was pretty sure I commented here, hm. Anyways, I absolutely adore this building, you really fit in the current and future style of eco architecture with a modern building. And it's a great capacity too.

Excellent! Lighting and texturing needs some work, but good for a first bat! (with 3ds, anyways).

Love the building itself, the design is unique. The only let down would be the nightlights. I can't quite put my finger exactly on it, however maybe just too much nightlighting and not enough of it in sequence (rows) it looks as if almost everybody is there working overnight. There also appears to be an odd light at the very top where a floor doesn't appear to be, looks (without lighting) that it's a square part of the structure. Never the less, a job well done and a very unique building.
