This train station is a large station, occupying a 4x3 footprint. What makes it fairly unique is that it has two pairs of tracks running parallel to each other, with one tile in between the two pairs. Most other multi-track train stations have the track-pairs right next to each other. In addition, the maximum capacity has been greatly increased from the default Maxis train station, to allow this station to better serve as a hub station.
The small size of these stations allows them to be placed in areas where most train stations don't fit, and they have the potential to increase ridership across your entire train network. Train stations can also increase pedestrian traffic, and decrease road congestion along with its associated air pollution.
