About This File

The Society for the Conservation of SimWorld have come to town and built there headquarters in the appropriately named Rainbow Tower (see the night time picture). Building their tower from 100% recycled materials they installed all the latest power and water conservation techniques to make their building almost totally non-reliant on external sources. The glass, which many local inhabitants find strange to look at, maintains the temperature within the building, cuts down on solar radiation that penetrates into the building, and reflects the SCS tenet that "all life comes from the soil", so naturally the galss is a kind of muddy colour.

The tower is presented here on a 4x4 CO§§ stage 4 growable lot with the following stats:

Lot Size: 4x4

Bulldoze cost: §1235

Capacity satsfied: Jobs CO§§ 2756

Pollution: Air - 3 over 2 tiles; Water - 5 over 3 tiles; Garbage - 16 over 0 tiles; Radiation - nil

Power Consumed: 12

Water Consumed: 12

To instal

LOL!! What a self-explanatory way to defend the odd windows. This has a very 1950s to 1960s feel. The nightlights seems very unrealistic, although admirable for the effort. If I am going to strictly rate this, this will not get more than 60%, so I will rather not rate. =P

the windows could use a lot of work, looks like a paint color sampling at home depot instead of glass. aside from that, nice work op4, 8.10

No, not for me, textures and details are not as good as they could be and the nightlight .....a little weird and non-realistic. I know you can do better, you proved it before.

I really like it- I love buildings with colorful night lights. There aren't enough of these on the STEX. 9/10

wow, the design is extremely awesome. I agree about the windows however. Still - WOW. Looks like something that would be planned in Dubai!

Although very beautiful, if I can't place them as a landmark or a non growing Office, I don't feel the desire of seeing 30 Rainbow colored office buildings in my city.

Wow. This makes my heart fill with sorrow. In memorial of OP4 I will make a special promenade in my city for this building. It's beatiful. Just like a real rainbow. They all start somewhere and always end looking more beautiful than when they started. Rest In Peace, Onlyplace4... :'-(
