About This File

These Textures are incase your texturing a Transit enabled lot that has curves or bumps made by gmax in it, for example, your making a ramp for a underground moterway or somthing similar. This set includes:

  • Road Texture
  • Rail Texture
  • Avenue Texture
  • One-Way road texture

Hopefully someone can help me get the highway texture...
BTW this is my first upload, but it took like 5 min.

The textures themselves are good. Something to point out though; when applying textures it's not the size of them you should worry about, but the size of the model. The textures will stretch and fit around the model you're using.10/10 ;)

Another issue of concern when using game textures in the BAT is the lighting. The BAT adds extra lighting that makes the textures brighter so they don't match their in-game equivilents.

These textures I needed for that purpose. So how do I avoid this lighting issue, like everyone else?

I believe the highway is actually a prop, not a texture. And colour calibration is not a simple matter of darkening, the different colour bands need to be altered by different amounts by making a new output curve. The relationship is not linear. Gascooker I think had a tutorial in the omnibus on how to do the calibration in photoshop.

sorry for the second reply - but theGTAgod: unzip them into your gmax textures folder(usually /program files/gamepacks/BAT/textures)open the material editor , then the material navigator , and drag the textures from the navigator , to the pic in the editor.
