About This File

This mysterious BAT was Inspired by Kubric's movie 2001:Space Odyssey. It is the cause of the evolution of the humanity. It is really expensive, but can give desirability a great boost. It's a landmark, but it has zero maintaining cost.

Great idea! a cool innovation for my city! honestly, I'm planning to build a new city centered around the monolith :)) However, to be more "realistic", it should be much smaller. And I think the width should be smaller compared to the height. Also, the ground is... ahem... boring. It would be perfect to put the monolith into a desert-like roky pit or something like that. Just sticking to the film... :)

For those complaining about the lack of textures: The monolith the Discovery came across had absolutely no features, nor did it have any reflection at all (this is why Bowman could not tell how large the structure was). Only upon entering the monolith did David Bowman see anything, as evidence in his last transmission "My God! It's full of stars." IMHO, Any textures would have completely defeated the purpose of this BAT.

So his first BAT isn't a technical marvel. Constructive feedback is better than some of what has been posted here, and to be honest, this thing isn't supposed to have any textures or anything like that. The only real problems with it are the huge lot size and the dimensions.

Good work 7/10, also to honour the idea behind. I would like to say despite of what fighters for equality say I think size matters, as always, and this thing is slightly too big. Furthermore if you want to add a purpose I think it *could* be a good idea to adjust it i.e. in a way that it boosts IQ or the demand for I-HT or whatever goes in that direction. Last but not least, when clicking on it it should play "Also sprach Zarathustra" from Strauss ;)

Personally, I think it's an okay concept, but I don't think it should be on the exchange, as the idea for it is a huge box that reflects no light, which what from the comments say is not what we want. I think that you really should decrease the lot size as most of it is open grass, hence it would be wasting loads of real estate land. About enough to hold the box would be excellent. So, just some ideas. I give this a 3/10. Sorry!
