About This File

UPDATED JUNE 16TH 2007
Because, no such thing existed, I gave it a try. I know theres left turn lanes in the NAM, roadst-ing and x roads, avenues x-ing avenues, but what about inbetween? When you widen a road, the turn lanes from the road crossing the avenuedisapear. Now just like the 2 way left turn lane mod, its just eye candy, but you still have a turning lane from a road to an avenue. I wouldn't have done this, but I just couldn't wait for the TLA to be finished. Install in the SimCity 4 plugins. I don't recommend editing the lot.And no, you won't findthe overlay in thetexture menu, its justthis lot.The cars will just drive over it as normal though.

guys , at least read the description before commenting. He clearly stated that the NAM does not include an avenue/road left hand turning lane. just incase you missed it " know theres left turn lanes in the nam, roadst-ing and x roads, avenues x-ing avenues, but what about inbetween?"

That is a really great try and realistic type of road. Just needs a little more work visually...and it should function as well.

You don't need to post a bad lot to get your point across, and even if you couldn't wait for the TLA to be finished then keep the lot to yourself. And yes, there's a reason that we complain like this. It's because all of ST's storage space went torwards bad lots and remakes of already-in-game lots, and we barely have any left for the good BATs. Dirk should really do a cleanup of the STEX to get rid of the files nobody wants.

I suppose the idea is valid but the textures don't match the ones of the existing roads. An interesting attempt. 4/10

I can't give a rating because it is both a good idea but just bad texturing. It looks almost as if you slapped a giant piece of paper on it and drew the lanes. Though great idea, it still needs a bit more effort on it.

It's already in the NAM and this really isn't that great it looks like something done in paint.

c'mon guys! give im a chance. This was a brilliant idea but it was not done perfectly... I wonder how many of you would even be able to create AND path it??? I could not have done it and while I will not download it it is a great idea and think it should be pursued

Try adding lighter textures because the intersection from the road on the avenue is to dark. The euro texture for the roads and avenues don't fit well with the left-turn intersection. Nice try though. Better luck next time.
