Introduction / Overview
Cheung Kong Centre (CKC) is situated right between Hong Kongs's #1 landmark, the Bank of China Tower (BOCT), and the world-famous Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank Building designed by Sir Norman Foster (also available from the HKABT). The building tops out at 283 m (928 ft) and is occupied by office space - except for the top storey, where Hong Kong's richest man Li Ka-Shing has his residence.
This BAT is an accurate recreation of the real-life building, and in order to enable downloaders to recreate the constellation BOCT/CKC, the BAT has been rendered at an angle of ~30° to the grid. Thus, BOCT and CKC can be put together in a way that closely resembles the sight of the two real-world buildings. However, the base has been treated with some artistic liberties.
Since there are so many high-wealth buildings in SC4 already, it has been modded both as high-wealth and as medium-wealth version. In total, you can choose any of the following options:
All high-wealth lots and the landmark version share the same basic design, whereas the medium-wealth version uses a different base texture. As always. flora and people on the lot are randomized and will change every time the building grows or is plopped.
Note: Ploppable and landmark versions feature individual custom menu icons that will allow you to see immediately which version is which. Moreover, both versions are to be found conveniently grouped together near the bottom of your landmark menu. The medium-wealth version should appear above the other two versions (if all three ploppables are used) because it is a tad cheaper to plop.
