About This File

Atlanta, GA. Biggest city in the South. Interesting, slightly bumpy map with a small river in the corner. 6x7 large cities. Enjoy!

Isn't Houston the biggest city of the South? Anyways, great job on this map, even though it seems easy and plain... 10/10

If Atlanta isn't the biggest city in the south yet, then it will be soon. A thousand people a day move to the metro area. Believe me it's crazy now, there are subdivisons here atleast 60 miles out from downtown.

biggest size wise, our metro area reaches into alabama(and atl is pretty much in the center of N georgia) plus Atl is 200,000 times better than houston :)

I still think Houston and Texas count as its own region. A lot of places there don't have sweet tea. Without sweet tea, its not the South.

By strict definition of city limits, Atlanta isn't the largest city in the south, Houston is (Houston's population is estimated at 2,016,582 in 2005, Atlanta's is 470,688). However, discounting Texas, Atlanta is the second-largest metropolitan area in the south (Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach is the first).

More people live in the city of Charlotte than do the of Atlanta. Nice map, but I hate Atlanta.

CrazyFinger, I do hope that your last sentence was not serious. Although I wasn't born anywhere near Atlanta, I've lived here for some 15-ish years, being 18 now. But anyway, Atlanta is indeed hilly, especially in the north Metro Area where I live. Quite a nice place if you don't mind "Atlanta Weather" -- my name for our totally unpredictable weather that can change from pouring to sunny and back in less than a half hour....

Okay, I'm sold. I'll download this. It's not as hilly as the Atlanta metro, but I can add the hills myself.
