  2. Atlanta

Houston's not really the South, I think Texas in general is its own category....

Atlanta, GA. Biggest city in the South. Interesting, slightly bumpy map with a small river in the corner. 6x7 large cities. Enjoy!
  4. Baltimore by rvbaxley

Actually, there was no funny-looking in the terrain screenshot...interesting, as the file I uploaded did.... I blame society.

Baltimore, MD. Flat land, interesting harbor to build on. Biiig region (9x9 large cities). Sorry bout the funny lookin terrain in the screenshot, but RegionCensud did that for no reason. Anyway, about as accurate as I could get, hopefully y'all will like it.
  6. First off, great maps all around. Especially on Mt. Rainier (I made one that was OK, but not near the level of the one y'all made) Second, anyone think one of y'all could make a Birmingham, AL map? I've tried, but getting the rivers and lakes right is difficult, especially because I think the (Cahaba) river's surface level is different on different parts of the river, and the river is pretty narrow anyway. Third, what all terrain mods and rock mods and such do y'all use? I love the way the terrain always look on your uploads. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
  7. Bayou La Batre

Bayou La Batre, on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Also includes Dauphin Island. This is the last bit of the Mobile Bay area that I haven't mapped yet, and now it is mapped. Bayou La Batre is probably only known because of Forrest Gump, but it's a pretty cool place actually. Nice map for building a big city because of the flatness, and bridging the various islands and such is also interesing. Enjoy!
  8. Manua Loa

    Version 1.0

Manua Loa, the massive shield volcano on the big island of Hawaii. Basically a giant hill with a crater-type thing at the top. Very buildable, especially since there's no lava on this, unlike real life. Very large region (9x9 large cities), but then again, it's a very large mountain. Enjoy! IMPORTANT This is a SC4TerraFormer file. To use it, you will need to: 1. Download SC4TerraFormer (v. 1.0c, the latest version!!! If you have an earlier version, update it!!!) by Wouanagaine. https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=391 2. Unzip that file and put the folder in C:/Program Files 3.Download this file and unzip. Delete the other folder inside of it. (Keep the files not in that folder. There should be a .SC4M and the 2 images shown above still left) 4. Open up SC4TerraFormer and select File -> Create a Region 5. Type in a name at the top. At the bottom, click the "..." button next to "SC4M file". Navigate to the folder you downloaded and select "ManuaLoa.SC4M". Click "OK". 6. Make any changes you want and save. 7. Open up SimCity and open your region. It will be all bright like in SC4TerraFormer. When you enter a city, it reverts to the normal textures. In essence, this lets you render the map at whatever pace you want instead of all at once.
  9. Mount Saint Helens

OK, added the part about what version it was. Thanks to all of y'all who are giving it a good rating :)
  10. Mount Saint Helens

The famous Mount Saint Helens, in Washington State. An active volcano that erupted extremely violently in 1980. (The explosion took part of the mountain with it, which explains the crater at the top.) I tried to get the surrounding lakes, but it was impossible, as the lakes' water levels were higher than the surrounding terrain and SimCity won't let anyone do that. Mountainous (duh) and kinda difficult to build on, but not impossible. Hope y'all like it.IMPORTANT This is a SC4TerraFormer file. To use it, you will need to: 1. Mount Rainier, in Washington State. One of the tallest mountains in North America, at more than 14,000 feet (4300 m). The region is kinda blocky, with flat areas then short dropoffs instead of slopes, but that was the only way for this to work (each different shade in the jpeg was about 10 m instead of the usual 2.4). It still works though. Kinda difficult to build on (obviously), but it's fun to try. Enjoy! IMPORTANT This is a SC4TerraFormer file. To use it, you will need to: 1. Crater Lake, Oregon. One of the most beautiful places in the world. Lake region, but little oppurtunity to build seaports and stuff because of the steep slopes down to the lake. Also, there are a few little mountains around the lake. Accurate for the most part (SimCity won't let me make an 1800-foot deep lake). Standard 1025X1025. Enjoy. 13. Devils Tower Wyoming

It's a map. It was made using SC4TerraFOrmer, a region terraforming tool. By downloading a certain kind of file, importing it to SC4TerraFormer, and then exporting that to SimCIty, it can create a region map. It makes it waaaaaaay easier to edit regions by letting you terraform the entire region as a whole.

Devil's Tower, a rock formation in Wyoming. You should remember it from Close Encounters. If you don't, go watch that movie again. If you haven't seen it, go watch it. It was really good. But I digress...Pretty cool map, slightly mountainous with a tall mesa-type thing in the middle. Standard 1025X1025. Hope y'all like it. IMPORTANT This is a SC4TerraFormer file. 15. Mobile

I made a map of Daphne that included Spanish Fort, it's somewhere on the STEX. I don't know about piecing them together, but it might be possible.
