About This File

Saunders Lake is a mountainous map surrounding a lake.  Alot of care and planning went into making this map playable for all types of play styles for rural to metropolis this map is for you.  The mountains create boundries in which areas can be separated from each other an allow for a more organic feel to your next region.  The config.bmp is included at a size of 8 pixels by 12 pixels.

Support is in my map making thread:
https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=120&threadid=80386&enterthread=y

I hope you like it!! Please comment and rate. Thank you.

How to install this region:

dependency:  SC4Terrafrmer https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=391

1.  Create a new region folder in your Plugins\Region
2.  Copy my config.bmp into the folder and overwrite the old one.  (make changes to config.bmp file now if you want)
3.  Open the new region you just created with SC4 Terraformer
4.  Click on Import Image in the Global Tools Menu and browse for the my file Saunders Lake 1.SC4M
5.  When file is imported click File - Save (the region is now saved to SC4
6.  The colors of the region in SC4 will be the same colors as SC4TF until you enter and save each city tile.  But you have the choice to do it as you go and not right away.

You may not distribute this map in any shape or form without written consent from me.

SC4Terraformer is a dependancy. There is a support thread for SC4Terraformer if you need help getting it working. Unfortunately it is not available for Macs. Also I use the propriatary .SC4M files from SC4Terraformer so that you wont lose any accuracy from using a .bmp. This map was entirely hand terraformed and I would like you to get it as I have posted. Thankyou for your great comments everyone.

That's a little shame you need Terraformer for this map because unfortunately I can't run it, but anyway, the map looks really great.

Love this map, nice and small for starting off in. It's got all the different types of geography to play with as well.

I finally reasond out this sc4Terafrmer and map downloading business and your map was my first choice. I have been playing it and its a beautiful layout. I plan to make it just a simple farming and rural area and leave as that No Big Populations!Thank you
