Its a corruption of the Star of David, - the symbolic representation of the Jewish faith. "His Infernal Majesty" is a direct reference to satan himself, and therefore all things evil - the representation using a heart is implying the love of evil - will it be allowed to remain on the STEX ?

Pretty unrealistic. The thing is: a region map needs a good amount of area to build on, and this map has loads of area I can't build on properly.

ye are not suposed to build on this map/......it is just for the looks.......And if you want loads of area to build on just go an generate a new region is sc4 .....than u r gonna have all the space u want...........lol

Well, if it's something to look at, then I prefer a picture. I don't need to d/l a SimCity region if I want to look at a nice symbol. A picture is for looking at it and an SC4 region is to play on it. This is an SC4 region and you can't play on it, so it's utterly and completely useless.

@justin: Well, let's not give this topic more meaning than it has. The symbol is a funny modification of a pentagram (2 tips rounded to result in a heart), and both the symbol and the band probably offends Black Metal freaks a lot more than Jews. =P And symbols don't have any power...

...other than the power you give them by believing in them. I'm sure that offending Jews or promoting satanism or other bullsh*t is the last thing Ville Valo had in mind. ;) Anyway, you can write to the band and tell them your concerns, but I'd suggest not taking this too seriously.

Valid points T Wrecks - the map is indeed simply a waste of space on the STEX server, and the symbolism the "emblem" contains is in the eyes and "souls" of the beholder. As to wether or not it actually offends is dependant upon many factors.

The thing I find most pertinant however, is why the member himself felt the need to state in his description that this "offering" was not evil ?? Was he arrogantly expecting "religious bigots" to make complaints - or was he recognising the assumed evil contained within it ??

Dear God......some of ye are concerned about waste of space on this server.....Come On its only 300 kilobytes....And there are a lot worse maps out there so stop whining like little girsl and get a life.......if you dont like this map just dont't download IT!!!......it is that simple !!!!!

I don't think this meant any offence to the Jewish faith so stop crying. I think it is a clever to turn a design into a terrain.

I like HIM. I do like the looks of the map. In the future just create more real maps.
