In 5026 AD Death Valley Supervolcano did a supereruption.
It actually resized it's crater to 124 km long, 67 km wide!
2.6 thousand years later, the humans had completely forgotten about Death Valley, and the sides had eroded a LOT. This is the remains of the newest crater of Death Valley.
