About This File

Map Description
Thismap is realistic and to scale. It is a map of the newark and New YorkCity area. It has rivers and sea ports scattered throughout the map. Italso has small moutains in the north of the map.  It is great forcreating CJs on and looks good too!

I'm first to comment I love the new look of NYC..but don't like Newark, NJ. I would rather see a NYC with the 5 bourous than have NJ to deal with....just from a New Yorker...still a great effort

mickele--no scale map w/ Staten Is can exclude NJ! PATH and NJ Transit, as well as LIRR are required for a true NYC anyway. Outerbridge, Goethals...now your Verrazanno will have a point

Great job TNS. The palisades and the higher elevations of NJ look great and realistic. Mikele macon, the map includes Newark because it was from a request for a Newark, NJ map in the Mapp Squad Official Request Thread.

It looks great, but there is no way that it's to scale.... if it were, it would be much bigger. Manhattan would stretch from one end of the map to the other almost....

Yes, if I did make it to scale it would be much bigger. But, it would be a pain to render. Go to think of the customers.

I have been playing SC on and off for years and have never seen a map so true to the boros. That and to adress The_New_simman, I don't think you've even walked from river to river in the city or else you'd realize it's no more than a few (not even 2 I think) miles. It's just that staggering to see how vast all the NYC suburbs are. Bravo. I love it.
