I can guarantee you that even though some members seem inactive, they are indeed using the site for the STEX, Chat or just looking for information about Simcity. There's also people like me who take a long break and disappear, but come back years later. Honestly, a user account, especially a non-active or rarely active one only takes up kilobytes of space, at most a few megabytes, which is not an issue these days. I started visiting the community again since the recent announcement of the new Simcity, so excited for it!

I really would like terra-forming in this rendition of Simcity. I spent hours in Simcity 4 terra-forming regions with mountains, cliffs, gullies and other crazy formations that were near impossible to build on; it would truely be missed if it was not added into this game. I have a feeling they are just holding back details on how the terra-forming will work as the game is still a year off from release. Fingers crossed for terra-forming though.

I am really excited to see the new site dirk, I am sure it will be amazing as always! Now if only we had a new Simcity to go along with it... hmmm.

Amazing, absolutely amazing! 

If you don't mind me asking, are you leaving soon or is this trip in the far future? I'm just curious.

I definitely like the feel of this logo much better; its much more modern and state-of-the-art. The old logo almost looked like a flashback in time to a retro-fest; it was a good logo, but just did not feel as "CUTTING EDGE" as it should be, especially paired with a game like Cities XL.

I don't know if this is just for me, but some of the bad smells that I have encounters sometimes make me want to keep smelling them. Its like this very weird and disturbing urge. My friend said he goes through the same exact thing though so I'm glad that at least I am not alone. Anyway, smells that I do seem to be found of are: new car smell, electronic store smell, musty and damp, rain and asphalt. Some smells I do NOT enjoy are: driving by the sanitation plant smell, smoke, burning grease, body odor... and the list could go on and on.

Congrats dirk! I'll be looking forward to hearing from you when you return. Enjoy your time in Paris my friend! The only question I really have is about custom content. Will Monte Cristo embrace custom content like Maxis did? SC4 has lasted as long as it has because of the custom content, I even still play it from time to time. It is an absolutely addicting game. As for Cities XL; it looks awesome so far, I just need confirmation on the ability to develop custom content.
