PEG Big Johns Mine v205a  1.1

About This File

Big John's Mine was started by a group of mine disaster survivors and named after the man who sacrificed his life to save them. Still following the original vein discovered in 1887, Big John's Mine continues to turn a tidy profit for its owners & providing jobs for local inhabitants. Sure, mining is a dirty industry but small old mines such as Big John's often spared the landscape of the scars inflicted by large pit and hydraulic mining operations.

This lot uses the PEG Ore Car props that simulate a shuffling effect as cars generally appear early in the day, fill up, move around and often are gone after nightfall. This lot is also transit enabled for rail as well as road traffic. The UI sound effect is lengthy... an often annoying PEG trademark... but it does help set the mood.  Enjoy..

Amazing details. This is exactly what I wanted. Its perfect for my old west town. Thanks so much. All the effects are too cool. Its a shame not too many people like historic and themed cities. I love it. Excellent Job.

I just tried this mine in my city. I was amazed. That Big John song is full length almost. Haha I love it. I never heard it before. I took a little steamtrain ride through the mine while the song was playing. It was so realistic. Amazing job you did Peg. I reccomend this to everyone.

Btw my real name is not John. My name sounds a lot like John, but I have a Russian name. Hehe, but I think your real name is John isn't it Peg?

ACEfanatic: I modeled this after a gold mine I used to explore in the Sierras. The color of the ore would suggest a gold mine... and a small mine like this could only be profitiable with high-value ore. But it can be any type of mine you want.
