South Korea road signs pack (Available on Steam Workshop
Foxkeh posted a topic in Cities: Skylines Modding - Open Discussion
I made a set of South Korea (warning, regulatory, mandatory) traffic signs using models by Krakow131, 001HANNO, and Raymond Pelletier, and making some texture modifications. There are South Korea-themed road assets (like road markings and highway signs), and there weren't any ones for those like speed limits, warning signs, etc. It's available on the Steam Workshop. ttps://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3627978525-

Wishing everyone a pleasant New Year's Eve/Day! Meant to post this up earlier in December but didn't get around to it. Anyways, I got around to learning how to add stuff from Steam Workshop and downloaded some more modern district styles. The only problem is when I apply only one style to districts, the other styles pop up as well. It's quite frustrating as I wanted to keep the sea port area more an old town feel. But either way, we now have skyscrapers around Premiera and more modern buildings in general. Before downloading the packs, I made a nice little plaza with .. I forget what building this was LOL. But I like how this turned out. Skyscrapers!! I also opened up new city tiles and expanded the metro. Cheers everyone and have a happy new year! Here's to more city building in 2023! Edit 1/10/23: More skyscraper glory. The first image is Life and Death Square. It started as a quaint European style square and now has turned into a modern haven. The next pic has these gnarly super talls. I guess this can be our Billionaire's Row.

Hello Citybuilders After a lot of years building a city in SimCity 4 (Burgerwaard) I have made the transfer to Cities Skylines. This game is very nice with very nice graphics, and with the community building loads of mods there is nothing standing in your way to build a dream city.. So you guess it right, thats is exactly what i have been started. When i am building live you can watch my stream at Twitch if you like. It is a very basic stream no fancy stuff, just building in cities skylines with background music. I do not speak or chat in my stream beacuse that would take to much time off the building time Click here for my Twitch Channel My Cities Skylines City A long long time ago there was a river where Otters used to live. Some people decide to live next tot that river and build a small dam and a few homes. Den Otterdam was born. The citizens long long time ago, decided to honor the litte Otter animals in there City Shield. Welcome to the city of Soon i am going to start with this city journal, mind that i do this for a hobby and that it is a ton of work to build a custom city in Cities Skylines with a lot of handplacing props and stuff.. Everything in the city is Dutch named but i will provide English translation. Also i need to make a lot screenshots, adjust them and then place them on the journal so stay tuned.. In the mean time you get a few nice teasers of Den Otterdam in progress (please keep in mind that it is a city in development)

Roads United and the General Steam Workshop Confusion
LivingInThePast posted a topic in Cities: Skylines Modding - Open Discussion
I admit I'm an SC4 player but I never really got into CS:L like I wanted because I wanted more out of it like mods. Unfortunately, the barrier to the mods I want seems higher than I really want to admit. For example, I'm sold on Judazzz' American RoadSigns [link], and it turns out that it doesn't include the nicer textures there. Then I search for "Roads United" ([link]), which is needed for textures , and there it is, "Roads United: US Edition". It needs a dependency (don't they all), "Roads United Core+", which replaces the outmoded "Roads United Core Mod". But wait, there's also a "Roads United North America" made by a different user, and that it needs the "regular" "Roads United Core Mod". Well, I kind of like the "Roads United North America" pack because the textures quite aren't as dark (I love fresh asphalt, but let's be honest, most cities don't have that luxury for ALL of their roads) and to me more realistic. Well, the North America pack suggests the Judazzz road signs, but the Judazz screenshots officially show the darker roads. They both talk about some sort of "NExt Network" but searching for that term ("Next Network") brings up nothing. (I did, however, find this intriguing intersection manager mod [link]). So not only can I not find this mod, but neither of the Roads United mods include a feature that should be essential in American road textures...stop lines. Maybe it's buried somewhere and exists. Maybe it doesn't. By this point, I'm about ready to throw up my hands and go to Netflix instead. I guess what I'm trying to say is, which is the "better" texture package and how do I find what I really want? -
How do you replace an asset you've already published to the workshop?
Horus_Kol posted a topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
I made a small airfield in Skylines and published it to Steam's Workshop - but didn't quite like the look of it and made some improvements. I published the new improved version, but it didn't overwrite the existing asset - simply published it alongside. How do you replace an existing asset with an improved version? -
