  1. PEG Marina CTD on Mac

So many of the PEG CDKM files crash to desktop for me on my Mac . I even went to far as to download a fresh SC4 from the App Store and load nothing but the NAM and CDKM files one at a time. It still crashed when I got to certain lots. Some of the specific lots that crash are all of the seaports, and many of the Marina lots. Any suggestions? Or am I just lucky to get what PEG lots do work?

With Permission from Peg, I am uploading these lots for use with the CDK3 Marina and Oww2 lots . These lots should , for the most part fit seamlessly with other CDK3 Marina & OWW2 lots. BlackBeards Den was originally done by Simgoober as a reward, but I wanted to see it on the water front so... Included is a Landmark lot and A plop CS$$ lot , no models are included. Both lots are traffic enabled , medium wealth, are slightly Christmas enabled andare 7x5. The Plop cost for the CS$$ is 100 and the demolition is also 100 and has 44 jobs as well as creates demand. The Plop cost is 0 for the Landmark lot Both can be found in the Seaport menu near the OWW2 lots. To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder. PEG CDKM Marina PEG OWW2 Annabellelin Restaurant PEG OWW2 Observation Deck PEG CDK3 Coast Guard Station PEG Christmas Development Kit This building uses SimGoober's Blackbeards Den model, which is included in this download. Since this is to go with the CDK3 Marina and OWW2 lots , most of these are probably already in your plugins .

And now... for the CDKM Marina series... we offer a turn for the better. Or, at least... a turn around corners. The Chandlery is a 4x4 inner corner lot for your Marinas. The lot allows you to visually wrap the lower floating docks around corners and extend your Marina in new directions. For those who do not know what a Chadlery is, it is pretty much like an auto parts store... for boats. Think Pep Boys... Manny, Moe and Ahab. Historically, dating back to the 1800s, chandleries provided very basic supplies to ship owners with a large emphasis on lighting for the ship in the form of candles and whale oil. Overtime, chandleries have expanded to include all types of parts, accessories and supplies for both commercial and recreational boats. From electronic fish finders to life preservers... to toilet chemicals... if you can use it on a boat, a good chandlery will have it. Many modern chandleries have evolved into large boating convenience stores that also sell ice, groceries, bait & tackle... and almost anything a recreational boater may need before setting sail. Our Chandlery lot is a 4x4 RCI ploppable CS$$ lot that provides jobs and income from taxes. The boardwalk, lower floating docks, and parking areas all align with the other lots in the Marina series. The building in nite lited and has a custom query and sound effects. ** This lot requires the PEG-CDKM Marina All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

The CDKM Dock End is the perfect lot for those times when you feel that you just can't go on anymore. Similar in all regards and aspects to the CDKM Dock Extension lots, the Dock End performs as advertised. It ends. The Dock End lot aligns with the other Dock Extension lots and provides a little more visual variation to your extended docks. Unlike the other dock extenders, you can not plop other dock sections onto the end of it. It is decisively the end of the line. The Dock End is a 3x3 ploppable water lot that plops fully in the water. The lot is modular and designed exclusively for use with the Dock Extension lots. Like the other dock extenders, its is pure eye-candy and cost nothing to plop or maintain. ** This lot requires the PEG CDKM Marina. The CDKM Dock Extension allows you to build that Mega Marina you've always wanted. No longer are you limited to long walks on a short pier... so-to-speak. You can now extend your Marina docks out as far as want... even to Infinity & Beyond!! The Dock Extensions are two 3x3 ploppable water lots that plop fully in the water... ideally at the end of the docks on the PEG CDKM Marina & Marina Docks lots. The lots are modular and can be plopped continually out as far as you want. The two lots are similar... but each have different boats in various slips to provide some visual variety. The lots are pure eye candy with no game impacting properties of any kind. They are free to plop and costs nothing to maintain. It will cost you §5 to bulldoze, though. The lots will plop at the perfect height, automatically... no matter what the water depth is. Just line it up... and plop. ** These lots require the PEG CDKM Marina. Now that you have your Marina just the way you want it... we're gonna screw it up by offering a new section you just gotta have. The Marina Docks section is just that... docks! This 4x wide lot adds a new and different lower floating dock section to your Marina. so you can expand your Marina complex ever wider. The lot also features a large Boardwalk plaza area that includes 2 randomly generated buildings on either side which, of course, offer local jobs. With each plop of the lot, 2 of 4 small buildings (a restroom, a gift shop and 2 bars) will appear on the plaza. The randomness of the buildings should allow the lot to be plopped numerous times without appearing too repeatitive. The lot is Christmas Enabled... and offers a custom query featuring completely meaningless boater-related stats. Its fully compatible with all CDKM lots. Poperties are similar to other CDKM lots with jobs but with the landmark & parks values reduced by half... and priced accordingly. ** This lot requires the following dependencies PEG-CDKM Marina PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

The most common sight at any marina are boats. Well, actually... seagull poop is much more common, However, we're not really all that motivated to model that. Why make poop... when you can make boats? Larger boats are usually kept in the water in rented boat slips. Smaller boats however, can usually be seen almost everywhere, often grouped together in either small or large storage areas. Boat owners usually pay a nominal monthly fee to park their boats at the marina... making it much easier for them to use their boats. It also tends to free up their driveways at home for other things... such as massive seldom-used RVs and old broken down pick-up trucks. This lot is a ploppable, single tile wide (by 3 deep) CDKM lot that can be ploped anywhere in your Marina complex. It is the ideal spacer lot or alternative to the Parking Lot lot. It can easily be used repeatedly (side by side) to create larger boat storage areas of any size. The lot features the standard Marina upper dock/boardwalk, lower floating dock and rear parking area. It will blend in perfectly with your other Marina lots. The lot also uses several random and alternating custom props for both the boats in storage and the occasional activity in front of them... which should provide plenty of visual variety when the lots are grouped together. Most popular marinas have some form of Guest Services to accommodate visitors who arrive by boat. Beyond the necessary Guest Dock, the better marinas provide a myriad of services such as arranging for boat repairs and maintenance, providing short & long term berths, making local hotel & restaurant reservations and offering information about local landmarks and attractions. The lot is a CDKM Marina modular lot that aligns with the the boardwalks and parking areas of other CDKM lots. The lot will also be compatible with the new CDK Seaport Village & CDK-OWW collections. The most important function of this lot is to serve as the formal right-end to the Marina complex. The lot visually closes off the boardwalk and parking areas. The lot uses timed, shuffling props to simulate boats tying up to the Guest Dock. During the day, two featured boats willappear and disappear next to the dock. No self respecting Marina is complete without a boat ramp. So here ya go. This lot provides everything required for your Sims to launch their small, trailered boats. (ie... a ramp. Beer not included.) It is a 2x3 CS$$ ploppable lot that provides jobs and income from taxes. There are few actvities to rival sport fishing aboard the cattle boats. Man against the sea... manning the rail... elbow to elbow with 300 total strangers on a boat design for half that amount. Six hours of untangling your line while the dweeb next to you blows technicolor chunks all over your shoes in a pitiful attempt to chum. Meanwhile, the captain cruises around looking for fish... and couldn't find one if it was served to him on a plate. So far, the winner of the jack pot will be the idiot who snagged a pelican while trying his hand at over-head casting. Ah yes... the wonderful memories of Sport Fishing. But perhaps I digress... Our Sport Fishing complex is the 4th and final Marina lot of this initial release. Like the Yacht Club, its a 3 tile wide lot with floating docks and boats that extend out into the water. It also serves as an "end" piece in that it closes off the right side of the Marina's floating docks. Also like the Yacht Club, the Sport Fishing complex lines up at both front and rear to extend the docks and parking areas of the Marina. The lot is a ploppable CS$$ with jobs and revenue generated from taxes. It is 3x3 tiles in size and extends even further out into the water. Nite lited, traffic enabled... with a custom query. The lot also parrots some of the Marina properties to extend the overall benefits of the Marina complex. We hope you have enjoyed our little cruise into the Sim-world of recreational boating and will look forward to all the additional lots that are planned to further expand this CDKM project. Several other CDKs, including the Seaport Village series, will soon be dry docked and refit to match this new style of CDK. But please be patient. The Titanic may have been sunk in an hour, but it wasn't built in a day. The Yacht Club is the 3rd of four Marina lots of this initial release. It is a 3 tile wide lot with floating docks and boats that extend out into the water. It showcases a collection of classic Trunk-style power boats that were commonly built in the late 20s & 30s... and are essentially the Dusenbergs of the classic boating world. The lot also serves as an "end" piece in that it closes off the left side of the Marina's floating docks. The lot lines up at both front and rear to extend the docks and parking areas of the Marina. This is the second of the four initial CDKM Marina complex lots. Visually, its a parking lot and it does function like a game-default Parking Garage lot... with a reduced monthly capacity. But its most important role is actually as a "spacer" lot. It is designed to add a 2 tile wide gap or channel between other Marina lots with extended floating docks. This ensures that there is sufficient room for the boats to get in and out of their slips... if they actually moved. Depending on what else is plopped around your Marina complex, you may or may not see any actual parking usage on this lot. If not, don't worry about it. We tossed it in for free and its not costing you anything beyond the basic lot maintenance. The lot provides the front portion of the floating docks to visually connect the Marina complex lots that should be plopped on either side. It also uses the same custom parking lot as the other Marina lots in order to form a continous & attractive parking area along the backside of the Marina. For help creating the perfect terrain for CDK lots, we strongly recommend reading The Official CDK Tutorial. ** This lot requires the following dependencies PEG-CDKM Marina All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

At long last, the CDK delivers a functional replacement for the game-default Marina lot. In fact, we've taken it a several steps further with a fully modular, multi-lot Recreational Marina CDK. This initial lot in the kit is the replacement for the game-default Marina and the centerpiece of your new Marina complex. It has all the same costs & rewards of the game's marina except that it is a tad easier to earn. Its nite-lited, transit-enabled and features floating docks and boats that extend well out into the water. And as a CDK lot, it plops even with the ocean surface every time sothere is no more fussing with terrain height to keep the dock from plunging underwater. The new Marina reward is one of 4 marina lots in the initial release... with many more associated lots to come. All the lots are modular and designed to easily fit together to form a single large Marina complex. On the water side, all lots have a fixed upper dock/boardwalk and lower floating docks that align with each other to form continuous docks. At the rear, each lot has custom parking lots designed to form a continuous and realistic parking area along the length of the Marina complex. Each of the four initial Marina lots will be released separately so you can easily install only the lots you want. The other three lots will have this Marina lot as a dependency but the Marina lot itself is fully self-contained. * All custom models and props used in these lots have been optimized for reduced file size and game resource usage. Other lots in this collection: (available separately) 2x3 Parking Lot A functional parking lot that also provides an open space between lots with extended docks. Also provides additional Marina Reward benefits 3x3 Yacht Club A ploppable landmark with CS$$$ jobs and additional Marina Reward benefits. Also provides a right-side "end" to the floating docks. 3x3 Sport Fishing Complex A ploppable landmark with CS$$ jobs and additional Marina Reward benefits. Also provides a left-side "end" to the floating docks. ** This lot has no dependencies.
