  2. End of R.C.D.

    Hello everyone, As you have seen in recent days, I have had problems with backups in SC4. The game crashes when I try to saving my area Dahammas. At first I thought that this could come to Windows 7, so I reinstall entirely. But the problem continue to persist, and then imposes harsh reality: the Dahammas region is corrupt. Somewhat in the same kind of Prop Pox, but this is the whole region is affected and not just one tile. It has become really difficult to play on the region since. Build his city, and see its efforts to annihilate because a backup that works only half the time, this makes the hard work and slows me.. So I took the decision to stop my work on Dahammas my biggest regret... That was one year I built this region. All are wiped time for a bug! Anyway, things are done ... It's time to do something else now. I thought again a little something in the same genre as Korver. I like to create scenes with the MMP's and create the most realistic scenery. Create scenes that still have an air of central Europe. Some scenes may be a little more "exotic", we'll see... With Dahammas I learned many techniques one can see the difference in the quality of work between my first city (Dahammas) and the last (Wardruna), and I'm very happy. Also, in recent months I further manipulates the software modding (although it is still very poor). I learned the best I can! I will make one last update of Fanèse with some photos to show the (small) party built. And soon a new project to replace one of Dahammas I hope. Here, I think I more or less said it all.     I always wonder how a city will end. News about ancient vibrant cities being discovered and questioned on why they were abandoned seem perplexing. Today, Thursday February 18, a new update and the introduction of Snowfall debuted which I have not bought... yet. And, the result for me... Errors following that told me of broken assets which I dutifully unsubscribed. Then this resulted... Going to the discussion board on Steam and the answer -- supposedly -- was to unsubscribe from the Mods. So, the 14 Mods were history. What an Alien Invasion? This would not make a Hollywood blockbuster since everyone would be walking around wondering where everything went. Here today, gone tomorrow. Hey Chirpy got anything to say? You would still be working! Nobody killed and nothing left to do! Now, that's what I call a war. So you know, this screenshot was the Industrial area Foggy Heights looking out to Evergreen Ore on the left (brown area) and Briarwood Woods on the right. Rotten Orchard Farms is that yellow area just a tick of center left. All gone... for now. The city J. Garner will remain in limbo until the "fix" is in. In the meantime I can fire up SimCity Complete Edition 1.0.2, and some say I can start up a vanilla city in C:S. We shall see.   4. Barlow Upgrade P1

    With Frankin's 6 lane in place times for industrial deliveries were reduced as the thought of doing the same for Barlow became apparent. Barlow suffers from an anemic road system unable to handle the dense and continuous traffic. First, a solution placed a road at the waters edge serving the back side of Barlow, but not helping the other side at all. Clearly not the most effective system! So from this we designed (experimented) a highway to connect the two halves of Barlow and we also restructured the larger portion of Barlow in three stages -- don't want too damaging a hit on the dynamics -- for the roads and access. This is a complete makeover for Barlow. The Blake Walsh use of exit ramps to and from the cargo terminal, so successful at Evergreen Ore and Franklin Oil transformed Barlow's terminal. With this step Barlow is about to enter an improved zone... I hope! Mayor (Acting) Haylo Stachoo
  5. The Final Chapter

    The Final Chapter Dear fellow simtropolers, this will be the final entry for the city journal of Leningrad. I want to thank all of you for your amazing support in every single entry. It is always a great pleasure to read your opinions, feedback, and (why not admit it) praises. In this I can't complain, as you all have pushed Leningrad to the top spot of BTT 16 weeks in 2015! The last picture I want to post is the first picture I uploaded. I had it in my mind for several weeks before I even had the idea of creating the city journal of Leningrad. In a way, it made it all possible. So what's next? There was a city journal called Antarctica that I abandoned after 7 updates to start the project of Leningrad. In this months I decided that as soon as I have some free time I would reset the whole thing and start from the beginning with more detail and care. Urban development is going to be one of the key areas of the new Antarctica, showing you the whole process, from the briefing to the construction; from the master plan to the reality. Photoshop is coming back and I will be using it a lot in the adventures to come (don't want to spoil the fun yet!). And last but not least, how can a city exists without its little and not-so-little stories? The Sims 3 will again be my tool to show you what happens inside the houses and in the streets of Alexandria.   6. Is this the end?

    In the first days of january IT happened. BSOD on boot followed by an Mb , ram and HDD crush. Hundreds of GB of data lost. Obvious all SC4 data from the plugins folder is also lost. And we are talking about almost 8GB plugins. So i'm kind of down. And somehow lost interest on playing. But who knows maybe i'll make a comeback someday.

    The CDKM Dock End is the perfect lot for those times when you feel that you just can't go on anymore. Similar in all regards and aspects to the CDKM Dock Extension lots, the Dock End performs as advertised. It ends. The Dock End lot aligns with the other Dock Extension lots and provides a little more visual variation to your extended docks. Unlike the other dock extenders, you can not plop other dock sections onto the end of it. It is decisively the end of the line. The Dock End is a 3x3 ploppable water lot that plops fully in the water. The lot is modular and designed exclusively for use with the Dock Extension lots. Like the other dock extenders, its is pure eye-candy and cost nothing to plop or maintain. ** This lot requires the PEG CDKM Marina. All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

    This PEG Utopia Series End section will allow you to finally stop. No more running off to infinity... or endless looping around like a game of Tron from Hell. You can now have closure with your canals. The lot is similar in all regards to the 3x3 Small Mall Canal lots... except that it has a few less jobs. This Small Mall Canal is also a subterranean shopping mall. Its a CS$$$ ploppable lot... with jobs... and the YIMBY effects of a small plaza that will help spur nearby commercial development. This lot also helps boost your Mayor Approval Rating to a small degree. The Mall Canals are extensively night lighted... and they are Christmas Enabled with colored lights and decorations that will appear only during the Holiday season. (game time) The Mall Canals also have custom queries that use random query sound effects... playing 1 of 5 different real-world mall recordings each time a lot is queried. ** This lot requires the PEG-UT Mall Canal Resource Pack. All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
