You have renewed my interest in Sim City 4 again! I hadn't realized the community was so very much alive still! Nothing seems to be able to replace or out do Sim City 4!

I get this same problem. I have HUGE demand for all 3 residential types, but when I rezone new areas, they hardly grow. And the areas that do grow, abandon quickly. Often because of commute time, even though they are surrounded by jobs, a large subway and bus system, as well as a heavily used rail and highway system.

The statue of liberty looks amazing! Thank you, its always annoyed me that they didnt include the old fort at the base!

I agree with T-Wrecks. Maybe just put windows, that way if a smaller W2W building grows behind it, it can still be W2W but also not have a massive blank wall

I get this problem off and on. I also had a lot of trouble with people not using the ferries, it caused buildings on entire islands to be cut off.

I work for a school district, we are getting prepared for it. We are told it will likely effect around 20% of the US Population. Though severe, it typically becomes fatal for those with pre-existing health conditions because it weakens your immune system, so its not the actually flu virus that kills you. Just stay home if your sick, eat healthy, and get lots of rest.

With any game your going to get children acting like...well, children. Even adults acting like children. I can see banning people for using the word gay in an offensive way, but isn't banning something for being gay illegal? Alot like fireing someone for being gay. Thought only our Military could do that LOL

The bible can be interpreted in many different ways depending on who reads it. And the point isnt the tax breaks, its the basic human desire to be EQUAL. A civil union may bring the benefits of marriage, but it is still segregation. Its like allowing the African Americans to ride the bus, but only at the back. Its not the same. Everyone has the right to be who they are, no matter how unpopular it may be at the time. This seems to be a terrible circle the US and alot of the world is stuck in. There is always some group fighting for the right to be equal. Its very sad. We have Laws that are against Hate Crimes, but we allow churches to teach intolerance.

Interesting but you say you'll have another video "in a week or two". Are aliens on a schedule now? Sightings of whatever they are seem so rare, how are you gonna manage to see another, and how do you KNOW you will in a week or two???

To me it looks like an updated version of Sim City 3000

What I did was install sim city on the new hard drive and pulled the BAT and Mod files over, then installed the update and patch from simcity4.com

Im posting here because I didnt want to create a whole new thread, I hope thats okay. My computer recently got damaged during a power surge, I now have a new one and was able to keep the old hard drive as a secondary drive. I pullled all my sim city files from the old drive onto the new one, installed the patch and nightlight patch but still for some reason I get no night lights on BAT buildings, also, anything animated is see through, I can see cars, waves, and helicopters through my buildings. smoke from steam stacks is also a little weird looking. Any ideas on how I can fix all this? Thanks!

All i gotta say is, those of you that like these twisting, confusing roads from developments, try driving something larger than a car. I drive a school bus for a living, and it is so easy to get lost in these developments. Here in CNY we have a development called Radisson, its so large there was talk of making it into its own town. The roads twist and turn so you end up not knowing where you are or what direction your going, you stop at an intersection and the road on your left has a completely different name from the road on the right. So I gotta say, personally, I HATE the way they are making these roads now, the grid system may be considered old, but is far less confusing for people, and just makes more sense to me.
