As a former pegger, I can tell you that the supports on the long set that go across Portage Avenue, (the 6 lane major road in the latter picture) are just simple round concrete pillars placed in the median and the sidewalks. There were built at the same time as Portage Place, (the shopping center on the left side) and are of the same architectural style as the mall. The ones in Winnipeg are also gernerally brown/tan in hue, with greenish roofs. I believe that the first picture in this thread is the one between the main post office and the centennial library and it is pretty much entirely brown, I am pretty sure that there are no external supports on that one either. For most of the the smaller road crossing skywalks the supports were built into the ends |--| and hidden in the the siding of the buildings that they connect too. Hope this answers some questions

Hi all, and the deadwoods team. This is a suggestion/request for the raised park series, what I would love to see most in this park series, (which is excellent) is a couple plain grass under rail lots, it can be hard to get the paths to look right when you have a mono rail and a road running parallel through the park, and most of all; a 3x3 (or even 2x2 if it would work) plain lot that only has a single square base, that can be used to place under a monorail 9 degree turn. I tried to set one of these up in one of my cities and ended up having the paths look like they were designed by a lunatic and it has a square hole in the middle over the road... which I guess is helpfull for the local mob, see pic. Anyway I love this site and hopfully wont be such a lurker in the future. Now that its Christmas break I hope to debut my own CJ.
