No probs, Lakey.... will keep an eye out for the updates.... BTW whats the link to the CJ? I've often thought about doing either a Melbourne CJ or a bit closer to home (the eastern suburbs or even just my drive to work from Lilydale to Hawthorn as I know it so well...) but I have a shortage of time to do them justice.. besides, your Melbourne one was pretty good and I don't think I could better it. Also, GoogleEarth hasn't got a very good scan of my area - very low res still... At the moment I'm just having fun playing the game when I can and trying out all the bats etc that come out on the Stex.

WELCOME TO PAGE 3 (Sorry, no page 3 girls here....) Lakey, Sorry to see Lane Cove on hold... '); height=15 alt=Insert smilie src=https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/8.gif width=15 border=0> (was looking forward to Lilydale!) But I am keen to see your work on the peninsula... Have you seen the Aussie style homes that Thesdale has designed? Should fit in your CJs...

Hello ladies and Gents! I guess I should say something here... Been lurking for a while, downloading many mods/lots/bats etc and been totally amazed by the efforts of all who live here - from the batters/modders/designers etc to those amazing people who have the time and creativity to make CJs that are truly amazing and show off what the game is capable of (and what I'm not!) Have gotten a severe case of SC4 addiction which is really starting to eat into real life (how many of you daydream about SC4 while driving home to the extent you don't know how you got home? Or keep up with ST while you're supposed to be working? Like now....) I think we havie to create a support group to assist others like myself! '); height=15 alt=Insert smilie src=/emoticons/3.gif width=15 border=0> I know that unfortunately I cannot contribute to the cause as much as I would like to (maybe 10 years ago, but not now) but I heartily thank those that can and do and wish you all the best! As for me. 35, married, 2 kids plus one due in the next 4-6 weeks... Reside in the most Livable city in the world, Melbourne Australia. Again, thankyou to all! Keep up the good work!

Lakeyboy, Nice update - in particular I like the airport.... have to do one in my city at a later stage... only got the one piece ones at the moent. I finally got the left hand drive to work - didn't have the correct folders... looks much better. Thanks! Shame about the 'G.... lets hope someone with the time/skills gets on to it - unfortunatley I have neither. Looking forward to seeing Lilydale Keep it up!

Don't tell me it's buggy! '); height=15 alt=Insert smilie src=https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/7.gif width=15 border=0> I want it! I even had my hands on it the other day - it was marked A$80 and was in a A$40 bin... thought I'd try and con the salesperson... no luck... I'll have to wait a little longer I guess... perhaps the bugs will be sorted out by then...

Lakeyboy, Good to see a fellow Melbournian doing a CJ - adds a little local flavour. Love the use of trams.... I've just started using the GLR but at the moment I've got some other tram being used... even though I've got the W Class one installed - gotta find the other file that is overiding the W class ones... A couple of questions for you: 1) How did you get the Left hand drive to work? I've downloaded the one of the STEX with the two registry files but they don't seem to have an effect - they add a sub-entry into the registry but that's about it... 2) Can you do a city section based on Lilydale - where I live of course... It'll need a good sized lake (which is only metres down the road from my house) 3) Did you ever get a good version of the MCG for your Melbourne CJ? Keep up the excellent work! Oh, and Merry Xmas to all! Think of me slaving away here at work on Xmas night... '); height=15 alt=Insert smilie src=https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/23.gif width=15 border=0>

I played SC today for the first time in a week, and I saw snow! I wasn't sure it the snow was caused by a mod i'd installed today or because of the date.... Pretty cool effect though.

While we're talking about Melbourne, how about the greatest sportsground in the world, the M.C.G.?

Jeronij, I've only just found these forums and then the CJs... I thought I'd take a look at few of the most popular ones and found yours - Simtropia and SCR.. Even though i've only read about 10 pages so far (out of 117!)... '); height=15 alt=Insert smilie src=/emoticons/6.gif width=15 border=0> I have to say these CJ's have opened my eyes to a whole new way of looking at SC4RH.... Your work, and that of others here, is absolutely FANTASTIC!

Melbourne, Australia. Worlds Most Liveable City
Dillster replied to lakeyboy's topic in SC4 City Journals
I have only just discovered the Simtropolis site, and had previously spent most time in the STEX looking for stuff... very cool I then got curious about the forums... and then found the CJs - and was blown away! I started reading Jeronis CJs - got thru 9 pages and realised it was over 100+! Too long to read in one go... but a magnificent effort. Then I thought - perhaps someone is doing Melbourne.... and so there is! Thankyou Lakeyboy! Keep up the good work.... Shame your map doesn't go out to Lilydale where I live.... I'd like to see how you'd do that area... Perhaps I'll have a go myself now... BTW - how did you get the right hand drive switch to work? Doesn't seem to work for me....
