  1. I played for about two hours on Tuesday and an hour yesterday--both cities I started had disappeared when I logged back in today after waiting nearly an hour for a spot. Then, within one minute of being on the server, I was booted and unable to connect. I was using Oceanic. This is very disappointing.
  2. Starting off in 1930

I love the use of the curved roads. Gives it such a nice rural feel.
  3. Synekism - A New City Simulation Game

Very cool looking. I can't wait to try this out when I have access to a PC. As the others have said above, this looks promising.
  4. CitiesXL will never function properly!

I guess I'll chime in and say that I bought CitiesXL 2011 this weekend. I played up to a city of 75,000 people and I noticed that it was starting to lag just a little--not to the point it was causing game play problems. It did crash once with a much smaller population on a different city. Mind you, I was playing well below the minimum system requirements and was still happily surprised to see how well it performed. I never had the chance to play the beta version or '09 because I don't have a PC--I'm a Mac, but borrow a PC when I visit family. But for the two days I had the opportunity to play, I was happy with the game overall. It's true it's not as detailed or diverse as SC4, but it is a fun game. And $40 is about the same you'd pay for any night out, and this game will entertain over and over again. I look forward to seeing where they take it if they should come out with subsequent versions.
  5. Copenhagen

The details of this map are quite good, but it;s unfortunate that it's not to scale. Then it would be 10/10!
  6. Revilliato | Isle of Bormeleo

The detail with the laundry hanging between the buildings is perfect. Love the realism!
  7. PEG UT Bus Stop

What a beautiful bus stop. Very nice detailing, and I LOVE the bus stop signage.
  8. The Suburbs of North Shozhod

Very cool library. I'd like to know where you found that one. JGellock: That church is from SimGoober's church packs: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=14036
  9. The Great Port of Shozhod Delta

Wow, very cool port. I've never made anything like this. I agree with some of the comments that you could use more variety--only from a far zoom, I think. Close up, it looks awesome. Nice job!
  10. Very nice rural area. The stone walls are a great detail.
  11. Mayor Rating Flipped!!

This is very helpful even though I have the exact opposite problem: my mayor rating goes to 100% despite the fact that it should be much lower. While not terrible to have a high rating, I would rather it be accurate. Thanks, Nonny Moose for your tips--I'm going to try and find the culprit.
  12. The real faces of Paris

These pictures really make me miss Paris. It's such a gorgeous city with great energy and diversity. I've traveled to many countries and still, Paris ranks among the best of the best. Great photos. Thanks for posting!
  13. Rats and Grafitti

That sewage line is a great detail. Nice ghetto!
  14. MP Mikes Mini Mart

    Awesome--I love the realism!
  15. AGS SBT Olympic Tennis Center

This is a beautiful lot. Can't wait to use it. Thanks!
