Overall, my industrial zones are happy but I'm getting alerts that workers are dying and I can't figure out what from. Pollution is low...(Not sure if that even has a direct affect on the situation.) Any ideas on how to address this issue and get a handle on it? Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I might just need some more gameplay experience with Simcity before I'm able to get a grip on it's more advanced CS. For some crazy reason I thought I'd be able to jump right into it and get a city going STAT. But, there's still a lot of stuff I'm learning with SC, so that's a good stepping stone for me. That said, I'll dabble around some more later tonight on CS and start off with the very basics and try to follow that tutorial that was mentioned.

Been trying to stay on top of this and avoid the 'worker shortage' issue. This is what I have a handle on so far: (1) accessible public transit and (2) upgraded roads for smoother traffic. (I also have a lot of zoned residential...) Unfortunately, despite the green smiley faces, employees just aren't able to get to work and my commercial buildings are getting abandoned. Any suggestions? Thanks.

So I'm new around here and new to city-building simulations all together. I just installed Simcity this week and having nothing to compare to, I'm really enjoying it. (Easy enough to navigate and get right into things.) But I've also been hearing a lot about Cities: Skylines and because I'm finding myself addicted to this whole city-building thing, I decided to give it a whirl about an hour ago. Maybe I jumped into things much too soon from kids' play to a more advanced gameplay, but I am totally overwhelmed by the setup of CS. Granted, I've only messed with it for a short period, but it was long enough that I was getting a wee bit frustrated in understanding how to properly connect power/utilities to my residents and industry. Some of it I muddled through but it was not enjoyable. I guess I'm asking for some input on what's the general learning curve for this game? I love all the opportunities that have been explained in trailers and on blogs, so I'm not going to shelf it, I just want an idea of how much trial-n-error I'm to expect as a newbie at this building simulation. If anyone else is also fairly new to this kind of gameplay, I'd love your feedback, especially. Thank you! Just a little overwhelmed at this point.

This is probably a dumb question but I really don't know as I'm new to the Simcity franchise. So, I'm a bit confused what generation of Simcity I recently downloaded from Origin. I got Simcity Complete Edition. Is this still the 2013 version/release? I'm reading different names for these Simcity games and I'm totally baffled. I haven't even seen this "Skyline" of Simcity anywhere. (I'm guessing it's not been released yet?). Thanks for clearing that up for me! Edit: Oh wait. Cities: Skylines is a totally different game, isn't it? I think I stumbled across some videos of it on YouTube.

Hey, everyone! I'm Bini and long time simmer, though, completely new to The Simcity franchise. I recently installed The Simcity Complete Edition and I'm really enjoying it so far. I tend to do most of my gameplay offline but I have joined a couple regions online. You can checkout my profile if you have any interest in finding me.
