Development of the city continues! A brand new University campus has been erected. I am now working on the boulevard area with a small cruise ship docking area. Any feedback on what you want to see in this CJ or any critiques on the city are highly appreciated.

Just some random screenshots put together, I m still not entirely sure how I want to give form to this City Journal...

After a *small* hiatus I m back! There were some problems with the save but I managed to get most of it back. I hope you enjoy these pictures

Thanks a lot! Thank you! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=629668508&searchtext=xave+rose these are the flowers you are looking for. I m currently working on the beach head and boulevard, while also trying to complete the inner city. After that is done I plan to start work on a palace and complementary garden, which I hope to do in the nature of the gardens of versailles, while still have an interaction with the sea (if it is possible a cave?). It will be on the left side of the second picture.

Hello and welcome to my first City Journal! The goal of this city and journal is to create an and experiment with a town located within the mediterranean. I hope you will enjoy! The name of the newly arrived 'old' town is Urbino, named after a town in Italy. This town was once governed by a great man during the Renaissance called Federico da Montefeltro and created one of the centers of wisdom of that time. Even at this day Urbino holds one of the oldest Universities and is a sight to behold. All the pictures below show a portion of what I have already finished. I hope to post some pictures soon of what I m working on now. My mind shifts into many directions thus the amount of projects I m working on simultaneously is tremendous. All feedback is more then welcome! I present to you: Urbino!

Continuous work on a Mediterranean themed map, The old center and harbor is almost done, now busy with the "newer" (1800/1700s inspired) parts of the city, including a palace and its gardens.

After having to wait 3 months on a new computer I finally can play CS again! with 16 gb of memory and a ryzen 7 it should be enough to continue building. Starting a new map I first build a powerplant with some adjacent industry. Right now I m busy with building a Water treatment plant and detailing the perimeter.

CO Abandonment despite CO demand
Celast replied to Rady's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
I couldn't be bothered myself, so I use the mod, but the first thing that comes to mind is make special districts, using policies, for educated and uneducated workers.- 6 Replies

CO Abandonment despite CO demand
Celast replied to Rady's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
You need 'dumb' workers for industrial. you can use a mod called 'employ overeducated workers', it will make sure that when a job is available a citizen, independent of education level, will go and work there. if you do not want to use mods you can limit the amount of education avaible or use the policy which will make citizens skip school and go straight to work.- 6 Replies

Movies on Billboards

Maybe a stupid question, but does this also work with GIFs? you would think they are lighter then fullon movies? -
I decided to start anew and begin with a rural area, maybe this way I finally will get the detailing right. I'll try to get some pictures up soon, but for now: adding the vanilla broken ship adds so much more flavor to a round-a-bout.

there is a real good tutorial video online about it: I haven't tried it myself but I believe the principle could also be applied to any other highway

How do you get those traintracks (on the rightside of the picture) so close to each other? I really like it!
