ProcsKalone's Rotated Trainstation
TheKrush commented on DaddyLeon's file in SimCity (2013) Buildings
Better if you just use the mod to line up where the station should be to be aligned with the road, then create rail connections to the road side of the station, then disable the mod, reload and replace the station such that it's now perfectly aligned to your road. This seems somewhat confusing but just think of it as a temporary mod you turn on when trying to perfectly line up a train station with a road, then turn it off when you're done to connect the rail. -

Old Mods - Train Station snap to road?
TheKrush replied to TheKrush's topic in SimCity (2013) Modding - Open Discussion
Yeah that has it but it's snapping the rail side of the building to the road lol, I'll have to see if I can fix that, and maybe re-release it as standalone. Hmm, I tried it recently and it snapped the correct side to the road. However, it was impossible for me to get any rail connected to it. Might have been some conflicting mods though, since I was experimenting with several at the same time. I would really love a mod that snaps the station to the road instead of the rail and let me connect the rail afterwards. It's always clumsy to get it exactly as I want it, since the road is always what I do first. So I hope you get it done :-) I did find a way to use it as is, I mean you snap it to the road you want then build your rail attached to that, then delete it, make the rail extended then remove the mod and when you come back in you can plop it down and then connect back up the road and it'll be perfectly inline. Though that is a bit cumbersome it does work, I tried messing around with attempts to fix rotation and couldn't get any. In attempts though to deal with all the traffic issues my cities always have I'm considering looking into if we can mod the walking distance of sims to let them walk a bit further in attempts to reduce cars. -

Old Mods - Train Station snap to road?

Anyone know what happened to this mod? https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/28776-original-train-station-snaps-on-road/ or anyone have a old copy of it? -

I second this. I dislike having the roads 'messed up', but love to have access to the pedestrian path and oil service roads.   If you're still developing this mod further, I'd love seperate mods for addings each road if that is possible, so I can only have these two added and not the rest.   Anyway, useful mod as it is already. Nice work :-)     Edit: I downloaded SimCityPak and found that it is quite easy to change the menu-order with it (for those interested: after opening it, click all the prop item on the left one by one and change the 'Menu Item Order' to something 50+). Thanks again for creating this. It made me curious enough to try to adapt it to my liking. :-)Not sure if he updates it but the 2 roads stand-alone was already done by another guy: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/28633-university-pedestrian-paths-in-the-roads-menu/ http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/28634-oil-well-service-road-in-roads-menu/ I just thought it useful to have rail/streetcars as well, and figured while i was doing that why not just do them all (incase the devs ever do anything with those other roads. EDIT: I tried the Menu Item order you talked about and that doesn't actually work.
