can those mods be used in Cities XL platinum? or only CXL 12? , as i just got cities XL platinum but unsure if there's any mods available for it lol

Hey i just started playing Cities XL platinum , the Game is so Amazing, but i was wondering , if anyone would be willing to make either a Brisbane transportation pack or Sydney transportation pack for the Game? as i can't seem to find any content of this nature for CXL platinum

#1 - Zoning Types : As You would all Know by now there is 3 different types of Zones in Sim City 4 - Residential - Commercial - Industrial, Each of these Sectors Play Different Roles In the Economy of Your City, So Here's a Few tips that you may or may not know: * If you Hold down the Shift Key While Zoning You Can Place different Sized Zones for example if you want a Sky Scraper Office Building to grow you would zone a 4 x 4 Lot ( Average Size ) - This Also Works Well When Zoning Industrial Estates. Now to the point , When your Planning your Zones try to aim for a Most Realistic Approach as supprisingly this has a Positive Effect in the Simulation. So When Laying Down Your Main Roads from Residential to Industrial try to include Along the Sides of the Main Roads Some Small Commercial Zones for Little Shops & Other Com Services to Build - They will Also Benefit from High Volume of traffic - Allways Remember the More traffic flow = More Customers!. The Same Applies For Suburban Residential Zones Where the Zone Connects to the Main Rode Put in Some 2 x 2 Commercial Lots for Small Shops & " Corner Shops " As Explained Above Has a Positive Effect On Commerce. Now You're Probably Wondering How does this Affect the Commute Times for My Sims???, Well That my Friends once again Comes Down to Realistic Approach the Closer Shops & Businesses Are to Residential Zones Then The Closer the Jobs are As Well Which Means Some of Your Sims Can benefit from " Closer to Home Jobs " . This technique Also Plays a Major Role In Your Larger High Density Cities As Your Residential Growth Increases So does the Demand for Commercial Services & The Strain on your Sims Commute Times. # Mass Transit: Many of You May Have Seen Many Tutorials On Youtube on How to Plan Your transportation Networks Word to the Wise these Methods Are Not Allways Valid !. What I Mean By this is in Real Life when you catch the train there is Generally a Bus Stop Close By to get a Connecting Service Right?. Exactly So the same does Apply in Sim City 4 ( I've tested this many times it does Work lol ) So Here's a Couple of tips on this: - Place a Bus Stop Next to Your Train Stations / Elevated Rail Stations / Monorail Stations. - When Placing Bus Stops Away from train stations etc in Residential Zones it is also a good idea to place Subway Stations Next to Every Bus Stop. As You Would Also Probably Know Elevated Rail Connects to Your Subway Lines & there is also a Mod Available on the STEX that makes it Possible to Connect Ground Rail to Elevated Rail here's The Link for that: Well I Hope this Article Has Given You More Knowledge on How Sim City Can Work in Different Ways & the Effects that Zones Have that are Not So Obvious. Lol , yeah K Rudd was a popular Vote in my area and i seen many pages on facebook with thousands of people against tony abott , to the say the least the result of this election is quite suprising - prepare for major cuts to many services lol.

That really does sound strange. The program does not change the game files in any way, but let's dig in shall we?: What did you click that prompted the install request after you uninstalled the application? - Since the SC4Buddy installer is simply called "Setup.exe" is it possible you mixed up the gmax installer and the buddy installer (I know it is a dumb question, it's not to mock you in any way, I just want to make sure that this is not the case) What error do you get when you try to install it? (screenshot or just text) Do you get an error report? (Please post it here, either as text or as a screenshot) Does the log for SC4Buddy show any errors (search for "Exception")? Post it here if you are unsure (logs are located in the C:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\NIHEI_Systems\ folder and should still be there after an uninstall/reinstall) The more info I get the better I can help you Btw. Did you miss anything in the app since you decided not to use it? What would you like in the app? I cannot provide a screenshot of the Error as it is no Longer conflicting, i simply went through My downloads / files and removed any files that was remaining on my system from Sc4 Buddy , and Gmax installed fine after i did this. Also i did not get the "Setup.exe" mixed up at all , the downloads were Completely seperate and i launched the Install directly after downloading the Exe for Sc4 Buddy. this Error occured after i Uninstalled Sc4 Buddy. In Regards to the App there wasn't anything that i thought could be added to it.

Hello All I wish to start Creating Custom Content , to add More Variety on the STEX , in Transportation ( trains / Busses / El Rail / Subway ) . the Models will be made in Australian transport network themes. I am Seeking Any Advice & Tips during this process. The following Categories that i need advice or even Tutorials if available are as follows: - Creating Custom textures for Use within Gmax & as Dependancies. - Gmax Tutorials ( Modelling trains ) - Commercial Office Buildings ( Any info / tips / tutorials would be really Helpfull ) Feel free to Pm me to find out more about my intentions or if you can provide any advice / tips on where to start Any Help is Greatly Appreciated.

Just Looking at Most of the fast food restaraunts currently available on the STEX .. and it came to mind that None are Transit Enabled. i know it may seem pointless but many people pay attention to such details & realism , because obviously in Real life you can drive into the drive thru. Anyways Putting the Idea out there it would be Great to see this made possible .

Hello Again i am experiencing a error when trying to Install Gmax , when i click setup a seperate dialogue pops up named Sc4 Buddy and asks me to install it so i installed it but Gmax did Not Install and then it displayed a Error Message... if anyone has experienced this problem and knows how to get Around please let me know ! .

Nh i Agree all tho i didn't have any Viruses or Malware Infections from the Program i think perhaps it was just a glitch caused by the program that somehow managed to conflict with Installing Gmax. it's Very weird but all is good now

ikr which is why i thought this Error was extremely weird , i have just gone through my Pc and deleted everthying containing Sc4 Buddy content , and done a Full system scan thankfully No viruses were found. Gmax is now Installed Correctly

Hello i recently installed this software to test it out but after which i decided it isn't for me so i un-installed the program , now i am experiencing a Technical Issue when i try to Install Gmax a seperate Dialogue Pops up Requesting to Install Sc4 Buddy So for the sake of it i followed the Prompts to Install Sc4 Buddy after which it does not Install Correctly and Displays a Error Message, which then the installation process is cancelled. If You can provide me with any insight on this and how to fix it i would Greatly Appreciate it.

Thank you for your input and i beleive it is related to that software , see i previously had Sc4 Buddy on my system to test the software out , but as i didn't really need it i un-installed it, and now it seems it has caused a conflict with Gmax somehow , i also previously had Gmax installed months ago and in the installation it never asked for Sc4 Buddy to be Installed. So the issue i am having is that i can't install Gmax from http://www.turbosquid.com/gmax , without it installing Sc4 Buddy in the process and sc4 Buddy then does not install correctly and displays some Error message which then the installation is cancelled.
