  1. Feindbolds Buildings

Yeap, the Hoffman is a quite old model. I have to texture it again. Unfortunally I cant take this time actually, deadline for my personnal work is 12, january We will see after.
  2. Feindbolds Buildings

How are these buildings with my collection ? It's my territory, you know.
  3. Hi everyone, So, here is my new bat : Hoffmann Building. Soon on the workshop - need to create assets first. 1150 triangles, Lvl2 2x4 Commercial Building. Lod with 80 polygons. Hope you like it ! I'm a beginner, advices are welcome.
  4. Attercap Buildings

Hi everyone, A Steam users told me today that my style "desappeared" inside the game. Feinbolds style are still in game, however. Anybody has the same problem ?
  5. Feindbolds Buildings

Oh you Thanks a lot ! It's interesting.
  6. Feindbolds Buildings

Oh my god Aaron Graham here. I'm dreaming. Aaron, we need some of your Park Avenue residential buildings... Feinbold, could you make a small tutoriel about the way your are working ? ( how do you select a building in google map (?) ; angle of your screens, number of screens, the screenshot before / after you work on it (photoshop ?)) Especially for big buildings, the deformation of the pictures is really important (for cornices, roofs... parts at the top). I'm asking myself how you use these screens.
  7. At least 8x8. But I dont think CO will improve the size of the growables lots. And 8x8 lots implies a mod that merges plots together (or share plots), with a hierarchy between levels... (to avoid the explosion of big properties by smaller levels buildings)
  8. Hi everyone. I'm not fan about the actual residential system. Houses are really big, there is not so much differencies between low level and high level (1-5), plots footprints are the same, so the gardens have the same size, more or less... the SC4 system is for me really more interesting, even if there is only three levels. (SC$, SC$$, SC$$$) : bigger gardens, bigger houses, etc. The idea is to use always the same footprint size : 3x3 ; with a few 1x3 to fit in the empty spaces. We dont need to have a building on each footprint : growables gardens (ponds, tennis courts, swimming pool, kitchen gardens, garages, english gardens.) Growable gardens are usefull to allow big gardens for expansive mansions. At the opposite, 3x3 plots will be shared by two, three, for level one or two houses. By using alway the same plotsize, the game will randomly use all the dowloaded assets. It's could be really easier to manage the average size of the gardens : if for the level 5 there are only 10 houses and 20 gardens plots, each house will have a better chance to have big gardens. Level one : 15 houses - 0 gardens, Level two : 15 houses - 0 gardens, level 3 : 10 houses - 5 gardens, level 4 - 10 houses - 10 gardens, level 5 - 10 houses - 20 gardens for example. Level one buildings : Level two buildings : Level 3 buildings : Level 4 buildings : Level 5 buildings : What do you think about this system, how to improve it ?
  9. You can use the system I proposed and have three level one houses on a 3x3 plot instead of 1 house on a 1x3 plot. It's exactly the same thing. You will have the density you want. Here the idea is to allow more differences between each level of buildings. Bigger houses and bigger gardens, so a lower density of population, as in SC4. Today we dont have a mod wich merges the plots when building upgrades. So a 3x3 system could be a solution, for a time ! 3x3 for the game. But for players, visually, it will be 1x3 homes at level 1 to 8x8 homes (with garden) at level 5... So I guess you agree with my proposal ? I'm not sure
  10. Yeap, but this mods didnt exists actually Is it even possible ?
  11. Attercap Buildings

Hi everyone. I need some help ! I need to change my mind and want do some traditionnal american houses. I think the houses in the game are... boring ? And a bit too big, probably. In SC4 we had plenty of these beautiful old wood or brick houses. I need inspiration ; but I dont know where I can find in the US these old wood houses : is there some special districts or places in cities (or a website !) where I can find a looot of traditionnal XIX° century houses ? Thanks a lot.
  12. I'm glad you are now doing more traditionnal buildings.
  13. Feindbolds Buildings

I'm doing american brick buildings which fits well with the Feinbolds buildings. It's called "American 1900" on my workshop. I can't work actually on these buildings but level one and two are more or less complete. (sorry Feinbold for this personnal post )
  14. Feindbolds Buildings

When I look at these pictures (I like them) I see two lines created by the cornices of the buildings. If you look closer, there are mostly three storeys and five storeys buildings. For storeys buildings are really missing and it's why I can see these "cornice lines." Maybe you need to create two buildings wich will broke these perspectives ? (I have the same problem with my buildings... !) EDIT : I'm okay with you high density buildings. But I think you can, if you want, have smaller buildings too. (level 4 or 5 with only 4 storys : if it's a town house for example.
  15. OOOOOOOOH thank you a lot for this mod
  16. Is it possible to mod the game to allow lower angle between two roads, between two train tracks... ? You mod is really nice, but the angle of the two roads is still really odd.
  17. Still not the Broadway Chambers. Where is the "dislike" button ? I'm glad to see on of these "1916 volumetric law" building !
  18. God job Mr House ! Is this station compatible with avenues, or "only" for 2 tiles street ? But I dont know if some of these stations are build on avenues (in real life.) ... this game is becoming really interesting. Yeap. Another question : I guess my buildings are a bit too much near the tracks or the platform. Are they ? Should I update all of my buildings and keep one meter between the facade of the building and the sidewalk ? (like the actual Feinbold creations.)
  19. Attercap Buildings

    Thanks mon cher Zed
  20. Attercap Buildings

Could someone explain what is an alpha map and how does it works ? It looks like really interesting. If I understand correctly, the alpha map transforms selected pixels of the diffuse map, and make them "transparent" ?
  21. Attercap Buildings

Woups, you are right. I have two 2x3. It was a mistake. I'm supposed to retexture entierely the Hoffmann Building and transform it into a 2x2 building. But I'm really lazy.
  22. Oooh yeah Did you use a prop for your water tank ?
  23. Attercap Buildings

    I have a 2x2 L2 LC ! I have to do a 3x3 L1 LC
  24. Attercap Buildings

Mmmmh. So I have to complete my level one collection. It's okay, I like these simplistic buildings (more than the level 3, more ornemented.)
