Since we are not plants, we should not be living in a greenhouse. Barbarossaquote> You should be happy we do live in a greenhouse. Without the greenhouse effect we would all be dead now... -

Are you being sarcastic or is this a problem you are really having? Because if you are having this problem, I want it too.

Not sure about the date, but it was the 1st day it was available in my area. Same with the Rush hour expansion.

Originally posted by: trixin I post here pretty rarely but I came across an incredible news article that I thought I would share with you all. This isn't science fiction. According to the UK Telegraph two German physicists were conducting experiments where microwave photons (energetic packets of light) travelled "instantaneously" between a two prisms that moved apart by three feet. One of the physicists, Dr. Gunter Nimtz, stated that this is the only violation of special relativity that he knows of. Read the rest of the article here. I was astounded to read about this. A breakthrough in science that is thought to be impossible by many may have come true. I was pretty confident that humanity would eventually figure out a way to break the speed of light but I couldn't have imagined that such a discovery would come so soon. I'm surprised that the mainstream media hasn't picked up on this story yet. This could be the one of the greatest discoveries of all time. Although it is still a preliminary discovery, I think this is very exciting and could do much good for humanity as a whole. Comments?quote> I know of one reason you won't see this in the main-stream media. Most journalists don't seem to care about these kind of stories. Pissing people off or working them into a panic for no apparent reason sells ads and makes money. This is very interesting as I never thought that the universal speed limit (speed of light) would ever be broken by mankind. Thanks for the info.

Many of those locked files are over at that other site. I don't see why they would want to make their files unavailable here though. Personally, I'll be uploading (and downloading) at both sites from now on. Good luck on the fact-finding mission guys. I'll be waiting right here for the info. -

Real Highway (RHW) - Development and Support
mikeseith replied to qurlix's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
I agree with jplumbley. We have a large community and are able to keep 2 large sites active. I choose to be active at both sites because each has different strengths. In the end it is a matter of individual choice. Everything is still available to everyone in the end.- 3,919 Replies

Oh rats. Thought someone was doing Broward county. Ah well, maybe I'll get around to it some time. That's a fine rail terminus there. Very nice work.

Do Coca Cola, Jaguar (Ford) and Mini Cooper (BMW) care more about the best interests of the fans than about dollars?quote> Ah...Both big budgets. Just different philosophies. Nothing wrong with product placement as long as it adds to the game-play. Just give me big highways and many ways to tinker with the commute.

You know you need 3dsMax to make new buildings for City Life. A program costing thousands of dollars to make custom content for a 30 dollar game seems odd to me. I hope if they make this thing, they at least let us import old .3ds or .obj models. If not, then there will be almost no custom content for this game. I still have hope now... Please Monte Cristo make it easy to mod...

in short, they could and should have done away with the power and water systems. Lets face it, who likes planning where to put the water pipes in SC4? Most of the budgeting? hogwash! Good riddance to those headaches. But I think they will probably take the simplification too far (judging from the screen shots they may have). In order to make it easier to use it will be given a lobotimy. I may buy it anyway and I may like it for a while, but I will still return to SC4 until a real replacement comes along.
