Excellent idea, I'll give it a go next time I play. thank you! :)
  2. Update 11.1: Prior Moment.....

    Good luck people of Arakawa!
  3. What comes to mind when you think about this city?

    The Guggenheim Museum Winnipeg, Canada
  4. My SC4 CJ Scrapbook | Important update and news!

Well done with the farms and the industrials look great too! How do you achieve the tree/grass areas beside the streets and roads, in the gap between the curves and zoning? Is it part of NAM, or a street mod? I've seen it around in people's work but not been able to find it to download. if you know and want to share, much appreciation will come to you.
  5. Izumo - The resurrection

You're back!! This was one of my favourite CJ's, led me to find many Japanese mods, thank YOU for returning and good luck!
  6. Infinity Tower, Brisbane, Australia

I take full responsibility for suggesting this tower haha   Thanks mate! Excellent job!
  7. Reddonquixote's BAT thread

Looking great don! I preferred the palm trees (which didn't even look like obvious palm trees, so it wouldn't have affected the temperate cities) but I think the wall is a nice change. The night lights look a bit off though, I know it's only a concept design, but something seems missing? I'm not sure. I can tell you tonight what the tower looks like. EDIT: OK, I was seeing things, turns out the building is pretty close to what you have, it's really not lit-up that much. Have to agree there should be a more prominent red light on top (I think you've got one on the angle shot at right, but it doesn't seem to be lit-up). So looking great!
  8. Central Plaza 1

Beautiful Brisbane Building! Thank you Scotty, it's always a pleasure to see Australia on the STEX but to have Brisbane, is amazing. Thank you.
  9. Melbourne Central, Melbourne, Australia

    Marvelous mate!
  10. I do a bit of both; from the beginning I sort of know the overview of my city and roughly where the downtown will be, industry sections, airports, etc. but I build it all as I go and plans change as I progress through it. It's hard in the game to achieve realism, because you would either need to have a full city first and then work on improving it, or be able to start from scratch with large buildings being able to be built without thepopulation requirement (like in China and Korea, where they build mini-cities with skyscrapers from scratch). Hopefully that makes sense.
  11. What comes to mind when you think about this city?

Lots of little lakes. LOTS. Brisbane, Australia.
  12. Update Two - Home

Newcomer Blake Thornleigh asks for the opportunity to settle upon lot 6, where he will build a home, hoping to expand onto lot 5 as soon as possible, to include a workshop where he will construct and sell his crafts (eg. pottery, tools, woodworking). He will help the community continue to get started up as he gathers his instruments and supplies. [Hope you don't mind the novel I wrote to accompany this, but this is a cool journal and I'm excited!]
  13. Sydney, SimCity 4 & Schulmania

My guess would be that the tree is a Norfolk Island Pine and the bird is a Dusky Moorhen, doesn't look quite right to be Swamphen.
  14. 6 - Izumo - Yoroido

I really hope you continue with this CJ!! (Hopefully I haven't missed something of an announcement saying you wont be :( )
  15. Parts 6 and 7

I think the dotted lines worked well, first twelve minutes of a video well spent! And great to see some zoning occuring, shame about the crash though, keep up the great work!
