What comes to mind when you think about this country?
Thin White Duke replied to KonstantinII's topic in Forum Games
Jimmy McGill's law degree. I know American Samoa is a different thing, but yeah I... don't know anything about Samoa Tanzania -
Yes, but the response had big tl;dr energy. T/F - Finland exists.

I'm still alive, dear friends. Unlike the real Thin White Duke. A few years ago, I didn't think I would ever fall out of this community and now look at me. Just here for the moment to let you guys know how much I still appreciate this community. Big love!

I'm a bit late, but good to see you are still around.
(You might remember me from the old site chat. I was in there a lot in 2016 and 2017.)

I do remember! It was my last summer before finishing school and I'd spent the whole summer just sleeping all day and staying up all night to talk about stupid things with friends

The big problem is my new job won't see my driving a Sprinter (or VW Crafter, to be perfectly honest. Same car mechanically, but with slightly different styling and only available with stick shift) but a Renault Master. It's ugly and has a longer wheelbase, so it won't take sharp turns and more importantly, it won't sway as much is sharp winds. I'll miss my RAE bae.

SimCity 4 Steam won't run on my Win10 and it isn't the multicore CPU
Thin White Duke replied to Thin White Duke's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Actually, after downloading and installing the new version of sc4fix, it seems to have improved. I still get that occasional crash when exiting a city or switching to another region, but I got those before too. Thank you everybody for the help. I feel kind of foolish for not remember to try that myself. I guess @simmaster07 deserves a big fat thanks! The only problem I have now is a more or less game breaking one that has been brought up earlier, but couldn't seem to be figured out.- 15 Replies

At the time I wrote this I had only driven one for a job for seven months and had yet to realize it's greatness. Having now had just short of two years of experience, I can honestly say this 7 meter behemoth is among the most entertaining cars in the world to drive. It isn't fast, but that doesn't matter. The manual gearbox is mounted on the dahboard rather than the floor, so it's a short throw. The steering is light, but not entirely without feel. Most importantly, it sways through all the corners, which makes 30 kmh feel like 70. Most most importantly, people let you go first. You are on top of the traffic food chain in a van this big. That said, in strong crosswinds, you do have to countersteer to keep it going straight. I'm okay with that at this point, though.

I checked it out and I have SC4Fix.dll in both plugins folders. I guess I'll just have to go back and forth ripping out different recent plugins until I find the problem. Thank you all for the help! It's good to see you again.- 15 Replies

Unfortunately, I can't compare directly with my old computer because it has been sacrificed to the laptop dogs. Would it be worth a shot at putting SC4Fix in that folder?- 15 Replies

Those were essentially my thoughts as well, just little broader. The strange part about this that I forgot to put in is that the problems began right when I got this computer. My plugins folder now is the same that I had back then. Simply copied over. It is using the GTX (double checked to make sure). I know I've given you a hard nut to crack, and I'm sorry about that. Don't feel obliged to burst your brains over this one.- 15 Replies

I'll put the latest exception report in. didn't think to check them myself.I know it's encrypted, but even if I converted it to readable text, I probably wouldn't be able to do a lot with it myself. To me, it's gibberish. I've been browsing around the internet for a fix, but I haven't come across anything. The CPU thing seems to work all the time, except with my system. I'll give you some specs too, just to make sure. i5-7300HG, 2.5 GHz 8 GB RAM Nvidia GTX1060- 15 Replies

What the title says. I'm using a launcher. It worked fine on my previous computer set and now I can't run it for more than 10 minutes or so. Hence why I've fallen out of the community over the past two years or so. Any help possible?- 15 Replies

Strong Scandinavian theme in this one. It's finally starting to shape up to enough of a point where I'll let people see. edit: Since somebody asked, yes those drainage pipes in the lower left are there to stay. -
There it is!!
