I wanted to share with you guys my pictures I took from Relay Of Life for the American Cancer Society. It was last night from 7pm-7am and they raised $130,000 over a couple months. Long time no see SkiGeek...yeah you have to scroll down a bit to see the slideshow. When they lit the word HOPE it was awesome, breath taking, and you could hear just the cool wind blow in your ear. I'll never forget that as long as I live.

New Discovery was discovered accidently. With so much going on in the news today, no one thought that this world had any hope left..until today. With technology being slow and everything moving at an even slower pace, it all seemed lost and gone forever. Everything was going down hill until one Sim decided to change it all...Sim Chara. Sim Chara was a shy and ambitious little sim. With a family and 2 pets to watch out for, she thought there had to be a better way of life. A better way leaving out hatered and all the negative stuff to go along with it. While out hiking, Sim Chara tried to think of ways to make things better...when it suddenly hit her. Buy some land from out in the distance and make your own personal "colony" Little did she know how quickly her little "colony" would blow up and get popular quick. She named the land: NEW DISCOVERY The first city was named after Sim Chara's town that she lived close by. (It was the only thing she could think of at the time) She named the first town, Bishopton after Bishopville.... after the city started getting populated, big things started growing little by little and before she knew it, it was time for some reconstruction. The city was in need of a better landfill and a better way to get rid of sim garbage. When enough funds were available, the first Garbage Shuttle port was built. built in '07, this port had the up-to-date technology that many places and regions were missing..taking almost a year to build, this was state of the art construction. All the sims in the city was so excited when the project was completed. it wasn't long before it was up, up and away..with Sim Garbage that is... And some of the left overs were saved and thrown into a pile, hoping it could be used for later projects. Next project that was completed shortly after the Shuttle Port was the first Sim Church in the region. sims are very big on religion...it didn't matter what you believed, it just mattered that you believed. Moving towards the west of the city is the farm land and agriculture of the city. This is also a bbig industry for Sims along side the commercial and industrial sections. The first community park and basketball court was a big hit among Sims. Sims love their recreational sports. Golf Anyone? Par 3 is one of the hardest courses but with the most awesome holes... Any sim can move here. With affordable housing and affordable rent..Sims don't have to worry about where they're going to live. Houses like these are for sale everyday and low, LOW costs. With the ferry connecting the subdivisions together, everyone can make it to work on time! This is a view of the east side of town. Upper West side: Lower west side is the more crime area of the whole city. Although it is under control, this side seems to be the most problemsome This is a view of the whole west side of town The main problems in the city are petty crimes, traffic problems and speeding trains. With the new technology available, speed limits had to be set on trains. Trains going into light speed don't always wreck, but accidents do happen. This is one of the trains that was fined for light speeding as it's called. This is the train coming out of light speed and you can see it as it slows...when in light speed it's almost invisible This is beach side before the re-zoning occured....it was decided that more housing developments should be built. The city clears away and starts on the building/construction of Beach Side Division. Zones are set, waiting for construction to begin. Beach Side Subdivision is finally completed. This is the final view of the division And finally a traffic view of the city Highways are in the works now and crews are in the process of laying out the details now........

This is the Brentwood Region. Map made by flame1396.....This is located on the STEX but I liked it b/c of it's flatlands and rivers. The first city established in Brentwood Region was Simpleville. Simpleville was founded my Mr. Simplier around the year of 10. He had always wanted a city named after him so when the city became established in the year of 20, they decided to name the city after mr. Simplier. They named it Simpleville. Simpleville was a slow starting city but populated quite quickly. Simplier City Hall was built in the year of 20. Located right next to the Mayor's Statue Plaza and to the Simplier Courthouse. Across the street from the courthouse is Simplier Regional Medical Center. With educated sims all around, this has said to be the best hospital in the city. This was the first commercial to be developed in Simpleville. After a 5 to 2 vote, city officals voted for a new marina. With sims coming from all around, plans are in the makings now for another marina soon. With the new marina came the ferry. The Simplier Ferry coming to town, traveling and commuting has been a little bit easier on Sims. This side of town is where most of the middle to upper class sims live. Sims are not afraid of nuclear power here Nor are they afraid to have a prison system here for all of the out of control sims. This is the far southern end of town. Many high residential places are located here but sims have voted this section of town - greatest place to live in Simpleville. Finally, this stadium was built in the year of 20...Home of the Hawks...Sims have been big fans of simball. A cross of modern day football and soccor mixed. Keep checking back for more updates of Brentwood Region. Officals ahve put the plans into work on starting a region newspaper to keep every sim updated on news, weather and interesting happenings.
