I'm on Windows 8.1 and I use to play on Windows 7 , and one thing I have noticed is that the game is far more stable on Windows 8.1 than it was on 7.

City tile missing from Region View

I know this is not related to changing the config.bmp file but some may edit it , I always make a back up of my region when I edit the config file. these days I use the save city function rather than using the save and exit to region. I have had issues with the city thumbnail not showing up on the region view, I've done stuff like hold down the shift key while I am saving and this seems to help. it seems to happen when I would use the save and exit to region option. It would occur less often with using the save function and then choosing exit to region without saving. I had this issue when I was on Windows 7 and it would happen a lot with the 4 x 4 tile cities since I have moved to Windows 8.1 , it rarely happens. -
I think there is one version that is unpatchable and thus unable to use the NAM , I think it may be the origin version, or maybe its the one on the apple app store.

yes but only the bridge itself and not the approach roads, so I usually use a grass tile to make sure the connection is complete.

your advisors will tell you about this if your power plants get into the 60 percents capacity range , it will say something about them not being spring chickens.

this is something I wasn't aware of , a lot of the newer games when you try to open the game from the exe it wants you to log into steam. -

the steam version requires you to sign into steam and that requires an internet connection. thats the issue. and also external disc drives do exist. -

I have the original release , the deluxe release and the steam release. I however have no disc drive. how is it piracy if I own all three. -

Well the game is on steam and that one has a rewritten exe that bypasses the CD drive. So I took that exe and put it in the regular deluxe non steam version. -

that actually opens up a lot of new possibilities , I can do this under a bridge as well. -
And I for one have been playing SimCity 4 on and off since it came out I got it the first week it came out. paid 50 dollars for it. I can't say that for any other game really.

This is very interesting didn't know this was actually possible , can you do this with the avenue FLUP pieces? I would imagine there would be potential for crashes if you have a subway line used for actual subway intersect it. -

So I know this isn't anywhere near as elebarote and complex as some of the other ones on this thread, but i don't have the pieces I used to have to make the custom airports and I don't where to find them. I did however design a multi-modal transit hub to make things interesting. A Larger Airport is planned on the south side of the city when I get the Airport pack (I can't find it , I had it years ago). However that large empty area to the left of the Transit Loop just sticks out so much to me, not sure what do with the space. I really think the Short Term Parking Lot should not be in the inside of the transit loop , I think it should be to the left of where it is in the empty space. Any suggestions..? 1

Wow these pictures are pictures are breathtaking. I like the use of the Elevated Rapid Transit track, especially that area where you have that curve.

I guess this counts as Anti-Grid. This city is very congested, Had to build that second avenue next to Greenbrier Bridge , I still have to figure out something to deal with the traffic on Battlefield Blvd.
