Region based on Detroit I'm working on. When I downloaded the map, i didn't realize it was bout 1/3 scale so it's a little off. Downtown Detroit will be in the tile to the right-center, and then Windsor will be just below that. I'm trying to get the suburbs and outskirts finished before I start working on the city proper.

Hi everyone, I've been a member here for *checks profile* wow, 9 years. I have been playing SC4 since 2004. I recently built a new PC and was able to start playing on that instead of my Mac, and have gotten back into the game a lot. I really like making detailed cities, with the surrounding suburbs and country-side farms. Also really enjoy trying to design realistically scaled airports. Recently decided i want to get into loting and trying to make a modular warehouse (like amazon distribution centers) and am still learning how to do that. I'm trying to read everything I can before i start asking questions, but i'm sure there'll be plenty! Thanks for everyone's advice and dedication to keeping this game alive for so many years.

Why do you still play SC4 ?
PJ Davis replied to Kleiner Timmy's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I like building cities based on real-life cities, and how a lot of mid-western cities are surrounded by farmlands. I'm working on two regions right now, one based on Detroit and another based on eastern South Dakota. I've started both with farmlands and suburban subdivisions, and am working my way inward toward the main city.
