Great newspaper and great pictures! I would suggest making the pictures black and white if it is a printed newspaper, but I like seeing the details of the pictures better.

Fantastic update. I am from the Chicago Area and this is incredibly realistic. You really captured the look and feel of those neighborhoods. The perspective pictures are very nice, too! (I like how you used Des Plaines and Dekalb, which are both towns near me.)

This is so cool! And for the traffic problem, when installing the NAM, there is an option to have traffic on the streets 24/7.

I hope that if the Taliban gains control of Pakistan, that the United States will step in immediately, before any damage can be done. Saddam said he had a bomb, and that was a threat to Israel. If an organization like the Taliban has power in Pakistan, they are potentially a threat to Americans in Pakistan and Israel as well. I think chemical warfare will not be used until someone gets really desperate, as a last resort before something truly terrible, like nuclear war. I don't believe the main purpose is to eliminate the other, but have them give into your demands, like you said. Both sides want something, even if it is just peace.

I can't wait to see who the winners are. It's been a while since I've been around here. My money is on Link for number 1. (I see Highland in the background!)

Darn, I missed my 1st and 2nd anniversary. I've been a member of Simtropolis for over two years now! And hopefully many more years to come.

This always did bug me. I wanted to be able to see the buildings in my city while placing the station, especially on a subway that goes in a straight line. I have never seen a mod for this. A few Google searches and I still have nothing.

I was worried about something like this happening in a school with their new armed guards. (We've had a few schools around Chicago hire armed guards for protection.) If the gun gets into the wrong hands, it is inevitable, something bad will happen. You can't (and I'm not accusing anyone here) go around blaming a lack of gun laws for something like this.

I really like Frex_Ceafus's post/picture. Blame the user, not the machine. And about hunting and defense; if I'm correct, the founding fathers wanted the second amendment not specifically for hunting or defense. It was to protect The People from tyranny in the government. So if assault rifles are taken away from The People, and they were left with pistols for self defense, the second amendment is useless. It also annoys me how the constitution plainly states "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed," yet some politicians seem to ignore that. Ask anyone you want, they will not deny that assault rifles are, in fact, arms; whether they like it or not. What happened to the constitution being the supreme law of the land? Sorry about my ranting.

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but we are no-longer in the Cold War era. I'm sure the CIA has some special technology to bypass the security, but it's obvious that they won't use it until it is absolutely necessary. I definitely agree that it wouldn't be wise to assassinate him, at least not now. But don't forget that Castro was a head of state as well, and that didn't stop us from trying.
