Never Pre-order games... If there is a game comming out that I like I will watch it until its released... Then if Im still crazy wanting it Ill buy it which is what I did with Mass Effect 3 (shame about ending though!). Otherwise Ill wait till word of mouth and if generally people love it ill buy. If I can be really patient ill wait untill a game has been out for a while espcially a PS3 game as they cost £40.00+ in UK on release, if I can wait... can pick them up for £15.00 lol.

All RCT games r good 2 is prob the best as it combines the best elements of RCT1/3 though I love building massive swimming pools lol

These games are so addictive you'll have hours of play on RCT3 lol... I was addicted to the first one like crazy RCT3 takes a bit more getting used to and a few things are not quite as intuitive the path system on RCT3 makes me a bit crazy but designing coasters is so much better on RCT3. :-) Just beware of placeing too many photo booths because your guests use them I ended up with a hard drive full of pictures lol.

[/quote] You can find these on "simcity force" its a japanese simcity website though its not easy to navigate (its all in Japanese) lol. Somewhere I have a link to their BAT section but not on me now... But if you check the simtropolis forums there are some links for japanese bat hunting... Or search forums with 'Japanese Bat Hunting' it should take you to relevent sections Look for anything to do with 'BBS' thats their file shareing section :-) The houses are quite cool some replace the Maxis ones meaning you can really build a realistic asian city. Unfortunantly for me I recently built a new PC and it dosn't seam to replace the maxis buildings there not sure why :-( Good Luck

I personaly don't have a problem with the tile set up, but if someone wants to play a region full of 4x4km cities they can on simcity4 by editing the config file and creating their region thats the great thing about SC4 :-).

Sorry to begin by fanning the flames of this fire with a pessimistic point: One thing that comes to mind about all this is that EA are aware of these sites, like simtropolis where fans can download mods new buildings etc for free and have given the game (SC4) extra life for all these years... So they have seen this and maybee are thinking we can make $$$$ with a similar system. So for SC2013 we have DLC for a game where you can download those wonderfull new things to enhance a watered down game and make money... You can download your fantastic shiney new skyscraper for x amount of $/£ or maybee a fantastic extended map with more space and resources! Now a more balanced viewpoint lol: Anyway though this does come to mind Im going to wait until the game is out and we know for sure... Obviously there will be DLC addons etc that we will have/can pay for if we want them. But the extent EA controls the ability for fans to create custom content we won't know untill the game is out and reasonably established... Unfortunantly waiting is annoying and this kind of speculation will continue with questions we can't answer lol... And when the game does come out we will need guniea pigs to buy it first and test it to answer all the concerns people hold with SC2013 :-). Sorry for long post! :-)

From a picture it is impossible to say for sure the true size of a map... Everyone is making assumptions from a publicity shot which is crazy. Maybe once people get a chance to play the beta we will know for sure. The picture is 2d and facing one way, and the world space is 3d there could be things behind or to the left and right of this image. There is also space behind these buildings where in theory you could build more. I will be waiting untill I hear from people who have actually played the game before worrying about map sizes.

I know this thread is old but if anyone ever gets this issue with SC4 Terra forma: I have fixed the prob... I had the file msvcp71.dll already installed also but you have to make sure it is in the right place!! I copied it from C:\Windows\System32 where I was told to download it and placed it in the same place as SC4 Terraforma's exe file. Now it loads no problem :-). Its strange because SC4 Terra forma works on my Laptop without any hassle or this driver but on my new PC it was a real A***lol.

I never had CXL 2012 I did buy the 2011 version but didn't like it as the mass transit only had a Bus :-(. To unlock the rest you had to buy more features online as I recall having already payed money for the game this put me off coupled with the fact my PC was not powerfull enough to run it lol. Downloading stuff from the Stex to keep SC4 updated has become addictive... I have a problem! What is CXL 2012 like?

Your city looks amazing it must be frustrating that youl lost it :-(. Next time you should back it up lol. I keep all my Downloads on external HD then copy across what I need. At least you get to create a new one :-).

If Possible it would be great to have a small Thai temple or something similar to REPLACE the MAXIS CHURCH so I can retain the rewards etc but keep my city asian style :-). Im not sure if there is already one to replace the church on the stex or not. I have downloaded Landmark Thai Temples from the stex is it possible to change there stats so they become reward buildings that replace the church? Why Would it benifit the community? Your Asian/Buddhist sims can enjoy a nice reward temple in keeping with an asian themed city :-) Thanks for reading

I voted option 3 because I'm not sure exactly how the specifics of the game will pan out, some things such as always being online do concern me along with map size... Basically all the things people discuss on other forums. The jury is out until the game arrives and I get to play If my computer can run it which is doubtful lol.
