The realism is definitely you're strength, you have some great looking cities.

LivinginThePast has a point. That's how I envision my regions, as a series of large cities not bounded by the tiles the game puts in place. My central city covers 8 tiles just because I say it does xD

i personally hate building on small islands. Unless they're all but completely level with the ocean the development just looks strange being on so many different levels. I wish you luck with this, the background story seems to be solid enough :)

Sunset County - The most sims seen since sliced bread!

absolutely awesome city! you seem to have dedicated a lot of time to your suburbs which makes me happy, I thought I was weird for doing that lol. Woodhaven reminds me alot of the immediate suburbs of Boston (Newton, Watertown, parts of Cambridge, etc). Very tranquil, but slightly urban all at once. -

haha some of these are great. the glitches I have are usually just annoying, like I can't bulldoze one random tile of highway in one of my cities, and in another I can't put grass onto a tile even though the surrounding area is completely covered.

ah that sucks man, it was really shaping up well. question though, that mall, with the toys r' us logo and stuff you showed in the financial district? where did you get that? i've been looking for something like that for a while, like an urban shopping center for my downtown areas

I really like it so far, is it based off a specific city?

I've been the same rank for about 5 years hahahaha, I used to be much more active on the forums, then gave up on SimCity, and now I'm back! Weird how life goes in cycles like that xD

Below is a map of the subway system that runs through the metropolitan area of my main city San Luis, in my region Puerto Hondo (if the image loads). Puerto Hondo currently has a regional population of 1,124,768, and the subway (El Metropolitano de San Luis, or MetroSanLuis for short) serves 7 municipalities in the Gran San Luis (Greater San Luis) area, including San Luis itself. In total: 722,336 sanluiseños have access to the metro system. The region also has an integrated ferry system, a growing commuter rail, and a limited monorail system (currently being phased out), that were not put on the map. The region is roughly based off of San Juan, Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, but obviously has a much more extensive subway systems than those actual cities could ever even dream of.

I would love for a Sim city 5 to come out, it just doesn't seem too likely. As for SC4 being dead, I think as long as websites like Simtropolis are around it's kind of hard to consider it a dead game.

I'd like to reccomend Brave New World, that book's amazing
