    Hi all, apologies in advance for another one of those "what PC should I get" threads. I currently have a Lenovo with I7 4790 3.6, 8gb RAM, 1 GB NVIDIA GT 705 graphics card. I currently have trouble with frame rate once my city expands to about 100 000 although I have disabled many mods. I'm looking at buying a new desktop for around £2000 and have no idea what I should be looking for so am seeking the advice of you good people. I would like to play the game with 81 tiles, TMPE and the usual top mods. Any advice on what I should be looking at would be very much appreciated as I am not very computer literate. Thanks in advance.

    i think if your system doesn't meet minimum specs you're going to have problems. I tried all the recommended fixes but nothing worked, so I bought a new computer.

    I began playing the game and thought I would mess around with the settings to see which ones suited me best. The screen then shrunk to a small black window. I can move the cursor and hear the music but cannot see anything. I tried reinstalling CS and Steam but nothing so far has helped. Looking on other forums it seems that a few people are having issues with the black screen. Anyone else having problems or any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

    I had the same problem last night. Very annoying as I will now have to abandon the region and start again. Anyone know if this is a known bug or something that fixes itself with time?
