For Education it would be nice to be able to draw the school zones for schools, so that school don't overlap like they currently do in SC4.

Just saying Atlanta I-285 is horrible. Think about 2,000,000 cars or more daily on 6-8 lanes of traffic total.

I need to find RHW toll booths there is a pack I know of that is RHW-2 through RHW-10 but I cannot find it. Any help?

These are recently built appx. 2-3 years in age. All of these are good examples of expanding schools!

I like your downtown area and the stadiums! I want to know where you got the tallest building in photo 2, the one with a rounded top, and also the one with the number 10 on the helipad, it looks like a square with a star in it.

An Expandable School Description: An expandable(growable) school. One in which you could add a wing onto it to add capacity. Its more fit for suburban elementary and middle schools. The school with start with as much land as the school would expand on. Most schools with this design never exceed 1,250 students. Which would be about 5 long wings(250 students, 10 classrooms), or 10 short wings(125 students, 5 classrooms). For the modding of the school I am not sure about the exact naming but I have an idea. When the school needs to expand a query pops up on the screen and ask if you wish to add a short or long wing to the school. When you choose to build the school it can either start with 2 short wings, cafeteria and gym; or 1 long wing with a cafeteria/gym. And the school could expand as you allow it. My question is: If we can have expandable airports why not schools? Why this would be beneficial for the game or community: The schools would add realism to cities all around the community. And a solution to having to build a new school when there is needed expansion because of overcrowding. It would make our cities journals on Simtropolis even greater and give use to add an education sector to city journals. And who wouldn't want a fantastic school of this sort?

Great City indeed. I would like to see Downtown Brooklyn, Soho, Tribeca, The Villege, Chinatown, Little Italy. And by the way Queens has more residential hi-rises by the river, and Brooklyn has its ultra trendy district of Dumbo which is in Downtown by the river not really sure about the exact positioning, but it is facing Manhattan and the East River. I especially want to see Times Square or your recreation.

Do people just overlook New Orleans?! The City has 3 major trolley lines most famously St. Charles Line. They stretch out from 1 end of the crescent to the other. Some running North, because Downtown is riverside you can only parallel the river or go north.

How do you create the curvy streets for your suburban development? I hate having a grid plan laid across the land.

Maybe I was just there on a bad day, but from what I've seen, the traffic in New York City (perhaps the best example of an urban environment in America) is 100x worse than the rush hour traffic in Houston. The streets literally look like one big parking lot, and every road is so jammed that the only way to drive is to force your car through every little opening that comes up. New York's traffic may seem worse than Houston's but you would be wrong. Houston has extensive freeways Cris-crossing it. New York on the other hand does not have a highway system through Manhattan, but in Brooklyn,Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island have highways only a few but each are important. Manhattan being the job center of it all has no highway and all bridges and tunnels end up directing traffic on to the streets. Unlike in Houston New York is a very transit oriented city with about half of the 8.3 million New Yorkers in the city using the transit systems available.

I am from Suburbia...beach front suburbia to be exact. They build gated communities because they are safer than typical subdivisions. Being settled between Mobile,Al (200k pop, 600k metro) and Pensacola,FL(56k pop, 470k metro) and an hour from Panama City and half that from Destin suburban sprawl is typical life for me. Because of crime rates they have numerous gated communities around the metro areas, generally located water-front, all they do basically is give a risen sense of security.
