Is there any way I can get my username changed?

So...I want a name change but I don't really want to give up this account, as I have a few uploads that I need to take care of. Who would you recommend I PM to ask for my name to be changed to dragonshardz? That's my name at all the other SC4 forums I frequent, so I'd like it to be the same here.

Anyone have their SC4 killed by antivirus?

pauljs75: try AVAST! Antivirus. It is free, and auto-updates w/o stealing focus. a little pop-up comes up at the lower-right hand side of your screen, and it says "Virus database has been updated" and then it goes away. plus AVAST! is less resource intensive than AVG. -
atomik: The lot description is a copy of the readme. The template was provided by BarbyW of SC4D and I have only basic knowledge of HTML. I felt it best to leave the coding alone as much as possible. DC Ohidaho: The CDK3-SP is a package of seaport lots for SC4 created by Pegasus. He has not included end lots in the package, so I made these to give a visual end to the wharf. Went to download sorchin's flora set and my virus blocker alerted me to a Trojan hidden in the .zip. Must have been put there during the hack attack. I've emailed Dirk and told him about this. ~~Stardragon/Dragonshardz~~

And I am the 82nd petitioner, and people should still keep signing that petition, let EA know that we are SERIOUS about this and if they sneak it in they WILL pay. SecuROM BAD, Spore GOOD. But Spore is better. I will get an official version of Spore, but if they have that damn SecuROM crap on there I will find a way around it. Also, no internet connection is required to play Spore (if it doesn't have SecuROM), but creature-wise it'll be pretty bare because most of the creatures besides your creation will be downloaded from the internet. Think of it as a Masively Single-player Online Multiversal Game (MSPOMG) ~~Stardragon/Dragonshardz~~

FS: Please post here if you vote in the Poll above. With the recent flood of SPAM and PIRATED uploads, (not going to name names but you know who you are) the STEX is truly in danger of becoming much like the Official Exchange: A pile of CRAP with a few gold nuggets hidden underneath. This may be averted, but only if action is taken. First of all, the locked uploads that have been pirated from Oppie and others and the Spam uploads that do nothing NEED TO BE REMOVED. It is depressing to open up the STEX and see a couple of real uploads surrounded by Spam and Pirate Loads. Perhaps access to upload rights to the STEX should be restricted. Maybe not like SimPeg.com or SC4Devotion, but restricted nonetheless. Maybe one upload for a new loader until the uploads has been scrutinized and then full upload rights should be given. But then again, maybe upload rights should be restricted like at SC4D. I don't know if much of the population knows this, but uploads at SC4D tend to only be locked when they become obsolete. There has never been a case of SPAM and PIRATING like the one currently choking the STEX and it's bandwidth. Why? Because lots or whatever are submitted to a commitee BEFORE they are uploaded, looked at and tested, then posted on the LEX. I'm sure the actual process is different from the one described, but it is there nontheless. This is a problem for the community, INCLUDING the mods and Dirk, to solve together. I've kept this rant/speech short so that it will be coherent. Voice your opinions. Solve the problem NOW and keep the STEX from suffering the same fate as the Official Exchange: go there to get specific uploads and leave, never to return if all bodes well. ~~Stardragon/Dragonshardz~~ PS: Those of you who HAVE had their uploads locked because they are Spam/Suspected Piracy, this is NOT a B_-_h Thread for you.
