You know, the U.S. already has government health insurance. Ever heard of medicare and medicaid? Why not work to have those programs to include more people (those that qualify and don't apply for it, and those that don't qualify), instead of adding another bureaucracy? For these people in Congress, its not about helping the American without health insurance. It's nothing but a power grab, and Americans have to wake up and see this "reform" for what it is.

Is it possible to run multiple types of passenger trains in the game? For instance, the game randomly selects Train A or Train B to appear on the heavy rail tracks throughout the game. I think it would add variety and realism to the train network; one can imagine that there are both regional or commuter lines that pass through a city.

Did you download the Network Addon Mod (NAM)? If you hover the puzzle pieces above transit enabled lots, streets, railroads, etc., the game will crash. What mods did you download?

Wow this is great. I see the sets on the STEX, but I have just another question: So, am I able to get a "replacement-original" from one person and an "additional" from another person and have it work?

First, Happy New Year! I believe that a lot of Americans also feel that the "public option" can be perpetually competitive because the government, in its current state, throws money into its programs with abandon. So the private insurers cannot lower their prices and will eventually fold, and the public option will be the only option, unless you have billions of dollars. In my opinion, there is just no way that the American government can run something efficiently and actually improve the quality of life for Americans. And in a sense, if you think about it, the government is putting these people on a system that is doomed to be bankrupt (Oh wait! we have enough money for 10 years!) and after those 10 years then what? We cant pay for these programs with the money we owe to China. Services will have to be cut, and the public option will not be able to cover these people.

Hello everyone. So, I have made a few lots lately, which have had their share of plusses and minusses. I suppose a step in the right direction would be to have a lot thread to iron out any issues before I upload them, so.... here it is! I am continuing with my modifications to the Maxis University buildings. The next one up is the "Classrooms" building. This is what I have done so far on a 3x2 lot. ^A little stylizing with the front plaza. ^And a patio area in the back This building could really be anything, so I might upload a few versions. But this is my first model of it. It is separate from that driveway in the front (another one of my projects). Any suggestions/comments? Also, some people do not like that my buildings names are "Open Grass Area." How do I change the name? Do I need another program? Thanks.

Sorry, I should have explained that better. I am talking about some lots in general that I have downloaded that do not keep the name change that I give it in game, and I was wondering why that happened. But whenever I work on the above lot that I pictured, I always click Apply before Save DAT. Also, yea, I added a custom deciduous tree that loses its leaves instead of the Maxis ones, but I think I will keep the cherry trees. So that should be the only dependency for this unless I add other things. Any other suggestions? I'd rather take the heat now then after I upload it (If you've seen my first two uploads. lol). Also, I don't see any way to rotate the "props" that are the actual buildings that I have relotted. Is there a way to rotate them?

Another question: I noticed that if I change the name of the lot in the game (in the query box), the next time I run the game the name changes back to the default one. Why is this?
