Hi all. I guess I've been a lurker long enough and it's about time I introduced myself. My name is Gregg, and I'm a simoholic...(sorry, I'm sure that's an old joke) I've been playing for just over a year now (the vanilla version) then I discovered this site and it rekindled my addiction. I'm writing to you from Strasbourg, France. Hats off to all the modders and builders on this site, you are truly artists! On another note... and I know this is the wrong forum to request mods, but can someone develop a mod that cleans rl dishes and does neglected house work????

Hi all. This is my first posting to the forums. I haven't been on forums for years now.

I've been a sim gamer since the days of Sim Air on Nintendo (was it nintendo??). I just got SC4 last year and stink at it to say the least. I keep getting stuck and end up broke. Can't find that balance to build a big city yet. I live in Tacoma with my family.

I am Archangel, and I am living in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada

I am soon to head off to the University of Toronto to study Archaeology, and I excel in history and geography...hence why I enjoy Simcity so much. Have been playing ever since simcity 2000 (Man, i feel old) Im surprised at the number of people over 20 here...I figured it would be a lot of 16-18 year olds...

Im 17 meself anyhoo, time to stop rambling about me, nice to meet everyone

Hi im Cougar (also known as Cougar2004). Guy from Oregon USA (Utah for college right now). I manage a software company, and enjoy hobbies such as DJing, Jet Skiing, Parasailing, Hottubbing, and Composing in my home recording studio. (hmmmm... maybe I'll record a new soundtrack for SimCity 4 that can our users can download.)

I've been around, so many of you already know me. I've had all kinds of posts it seems. Asking for help, answering others, spawning new ideas, attracting backlashes, sharing data, makes jokes, provoking thought, organizing data, challenging theories, talking tech, and complementing others. (Sheesh, i spend too much time on here! hah) I've been pretty amazed that some of my posts have hit pretty serious numbers of views (over 1000 in a week) and replies (over 30 is a lot for many of these forums). Its nice to be involved here. I enjoy SimCity.

Yes, Skyfire2275. I Got SC4D for my birthday in the year that I first joined. After a couple days my computer failed, and when i got it back up that year, I had already misplaced my game. Life was too busy to search for it. Until this Fall, when I began some fall cleaning, it showed up, so I'm back in 2006! I'm just glad I registered at simcity.com with my CODE! (cause I never found that again!)

So I consider myself new here... been using SimTropolis (and SimCity 1 month now). But I come (back) with a little experience in having downloaded and read many STEX items from years ago. (No i never actually loaded a single one, but i learned a lot by searching and reading the readmes. So thats what i come back with. I think i made ONE city before the crash. (Bright side: at least i didnt lose too much!)

Hi,

I'm from Corpus Christi, Texas, presently serving in the U.S. Navy.  I am a long-time SimCity fan, but have not played it a very long time.

My 10-year old son found my copy of SC3 that I never loaded on a computer and expressed an interest.  When it failed to load on my present XP machine, I decided it was time for an upgrade.  So, a couple of weeks ago we found a copy of SC4D; neither of us have gotten much sleep since then....

I am amazed at how the game has matured since SC2k, and absolutely love the Rush Hour expansion.  Greatly looking forward to delving through the archives here.

Hello there. I got SimCity 4 on sale somewhere a few years back, as I was a fan of the SimCity franchise and wanted to see where the newest game was going. It was okay, but I didn't really fall in love with it. But you guys make it look so fun, I'm going to start playing again.

Hiya! My name is Pete and I am 24 (recently!), and after 2 months trekking in Nepal I am looking forward to spending some quality time designing some of the beautiful scenes I saw in the Himalaya (and just some cool cities!). I have been reading up about BSC and BATTing and it is a little over aweing to begin with, but Im sure I'll get the hang of it!!

Only prob is I dont have a copy, so I am bidding on ebay right this instant - wish me luck!
