Hello, I am Matt from Omaha, NE... that is the state in the middle of the US, and the only State with a Unicamral type of Government (for those fo you still in school). I am 20 years old, and am studying Architecture. I don't like to use the computer to do designs, I rather use my own 2 hands, but am thinkful for those of you who do use the comp! I was studying at Iowa State University which is nationally know for Architecture and Engineering! However, I am still a Nebraska fan!

For those of you who are aspriing to become Architects, it is a hard major! You need to dedicate a lot of time... more than you can expect to put into it, so be prepaired! Good Luck!

Interesting thread. I'm 33, born and raised in Toronto Ontario. I moved to Edmonton Alberta 3 years ago, after having worked 2 years in Detroit Michigan. I'm currently doing a Ph.D. in evolutionary developmental genetics at the University of Alberta. In brief, I am examining gene expression patterns in snake embryos in an attempt to figure out how/why snakes lost their limbs. (They haven't lost them completely, many snakes have hind limb buds that abort during development).

Hi I'm Adam from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, UK. I am also Norman but somthing happened and I can't logon. I go to Lynn Grove VA High School (check my sig). I am Year 8 and my 13th birthday is on the 18th June. I enjoy city planning and building. I love to play SC4 and RCT1. I love ICT and Science but not PE. I am very proud of being British and am following England's Euro 2004 campagin and London's Olympic bid. I love to play tennis and Cricket but I am certainly not into Cross-country/ running. I am a perfectionist and pay perfect attention to detail. My play style is slow and tedious it is 30/40 years before I get 20,000 people. I am a realism addict.

 

I really enjoy creating citys on paper and making transport systems, buildings etc.. I call them my city files. I have about 20 all together. Each has it's own binder. They range from villages to capital cities. At the moment I'm working on Fordmouth, it is a large town by the sea and the river Ford. It's main industrie is Tourism. It has a brilliant Riverside area.

I am JohnB from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I moved to the United States from Kiev, Ukraine in 1995. I am 18 years old. My hobbies are playing hockey, playing Simulation games, reading electronics books, and fixing stuff. I have a job in a financial center in downtown Pittsburgh. I plan to go to Pitt University and taking a technical major of some sort. I have no idea what kind yet, but I am trying to find one that has a high salary and is related to my interests. I live in Carson, CA, Del Amo Blvd. Where I live, it isn't all about the car and freeways and all that like in Santa Monica and rich areas in LA. A lot of the kids around here rely on the bus to take them wherever. And since the Blue Line station is down the street, we get a bus/rail connection to all of LA County. It's a totally different environment here, compared to the rich areas and stuff. But it's all good out here.

I am 15 years old and will be a sophmore at North High School in Evansville, Indiana. I do not currently have a job, but am looking for one. I am in the marching band at North where I play the alto saxophone, and run long distance track in the spring.
