Woah!
Superb work Jeroni, those rural trails look awesome! Reminds me of pictures of farms in Ireland! The Costa Tramuntana update is also great! Those close up shots are particularly spectacular!

Take care amigo

It sure is nice after being gone for a week having 10 pages of CR to dredge through. Found quite a lot of good stuff, as is your normal superlative quality. Happy birthday. Good mosaic of Costa T. Good shot of Runway East.

Date: 6/16/2005 7:56:08 PM Author: Latexmaali OMG so beautiful farms!!36.gif44.gif I don't like those Simcity original farms so much.. Where did you get those?47.gif
quote>

Most if not all of those farms are on the STEX. JBM, BSC, BLS, CSX.. all the good ones and make sure to get all the BTE farm lots so you can get some new reward building out of em 2.gif You will also have to download em as well.. Hope you have a fast connection though as you will probably end up downloading everything by PEG, SimGoober, etc etc

Man, this CJ is something out of this world... I don't play SC4 at the moment (I'm trapped in World of Warcraft 2.gif...but i'll return from there eventually)...

Anyway. I'm still checking out your CJ on a regular basis. I must say I'm really impressed. Keep at it...

Wow! Those farms are fantastic! And the rural paths compliments them so well! Nice mix there, Jeroni!

Everything you do makes you such a great CJ author. You always respond to people's comments (At least when time is available. 1.gif ), you answer their questions... And these almost, if not always daily updates... Wow! And to think you also lead a decent life... Wow! I'm amazed, Jeroni! 44.gif Keep up the greeeeeeeeeat work! 5.gif

Hey Mayor Jeroni!

I love the new update, and the development. I love almost everything here. Your cities are so beautiful and precise to the detail, and thats why I love it.

BTW, I've seen on a mosaic around page 89 that you have also used the Asphalt Highway Mod by thorvin. Can you help me because I have the mod, and I am having trouble covering up some areas of an interchange with the texture (Especially NAM Pieces). Do you think you can help? Thanks again! 44.gif

your cj is amazing!! i love how you lay your transport networks out.

I repeat the question in other words for clearance. I want to upload the a pic in ImageShack, and link it to this CJ in a way that when you open the page, you can see the full sized pic. How do I do that
quote>

When ImageShack gives you the codes to use, try using the direct link to image and use that when inserting the picture (by clicking on the insert picture button when writing your post).

Hope this helps and much praise for your city 44.gif

I always enjoy each and every one of your updates!

I love how Costa Tramuntana is finishing of, the detailed pics were very pretty indeed. I agree with you that the intersection takes up a lot of space, but perhaps you can find a way to use it where the space doesn't matter so much? In fact, didn't you allready? Near the airport? 2.gif

Sorry, can't help you on the Imageshack pics. But I'm sure some of the other CJers can.

Thanks for all your hard work, I'm still hooked to Sculpting Columbia River!

Hey jeronij,

I think I can help you, but first I must know how big is the picture you are trying to upload, by pixels, as you may know the picture limit here at ST is 800x600, if you are wanting to insert a huge picture like over 1000 pixels by length and width I am sorry my friend but you can not it will be deleted.
If you are wondering how you can upload a image directly to st there is a option when using Firefox, insert image here..

help0eb.jpg

just copy the link after you upload here Direct link to image

untitled5ru.png

Copy the link into an pop up window that should come up looking like this..

untitled0jn.png

Hit ok and you should be ok, make sure once you click submit that your pics worked.

I hope this helped..and I will comment about the update as soon as I can. 44.gif

Wonderful update as always! I can't wait to see development in that area!

I'll try to give instructions on hosting pictures from ImageShack:

1; Upload your picture to ImageShack

2; Copy one of the last ones... the one that starts with http:// (To the right it says 'Direct link to Image')

3; Find the spot that you want the image to go. Type in {img src='paste the image link here'} , replacing paste the image link here with your image link (the one starting with http://). Also, replace the { } with < >

I hope this isn't too confusing.

Hello again jeronij, then again about the update...

the clock monument, ahh yes great use of those lots, I just love them and I am glad you do as well. The beach looks great, man, the flora you use make the area look much better then it already does. 2.gif I really like your residential areas around the clock monument, they look great, I might buy a condo around there. 48.gif

Jeroni

Loved it! I really like your close-ups, good to see all those details,  like the parks and parking spaces near the beach!
The NAM bridge that spans the rail AND the avenue. Your detailed shot of the rail stations with that curious roundabout that doubleback! Count on you to try something different.

For the hosting question, all I've read so far on the subject, points out that even if you host your picture off-site, you cant show it in simtropolis IF it's bigger than 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high. Perhaps a compromise would be to post a 800X600 picture with a link for the real (bigger) one offsite, but again, to see it you have to go to the hosting site I think it's related not only to HD space, but more so a question of bandwidht. (somebody correct me if I'm wrong).

Take care amigo

86.04 I like the bridge.
86.08 I see SOMY's mega hospital! 44.gif

Regarding image hosting, I find the one specially made for SimCity, ImgCity , easier to use.

Incidentally, in your reply to me, so less words should probably have been so few words.

Keep up the fine work. I cannot wait to see what marvels of commerce will emerge from 86.06.

49.gif You should read the post more clearly 2.gif He is asking about OUTSIDE hosting. All the SCR pics are already on ST.  So, it more about using something like imageshack not ST.

Hi Jeroni, 1.gif

Here are a few steps that I would follow to upload a picture on Imageshack and then subsequently on Simtropolis' City Journal. 49.gif

01) First open the  Imageshack Website.

02) You get a box with a Browse button next to it. Click the Browse button.

03) Next select the picture that you want to upload and click Open.

04) After doing this, there is a button below named host it!. Click it.

05) The picture will now upload onto the Imageshack Servers and later you will get a set of links.

06) Copy the second last link under the heading Direct Link to image.

07) Now come back to the City Journal section in Simtropolis and open the post form which we are all so familiar with.

04.gif Here click the Insert Image button. It is the last button.

09) An Insert Image window will open up. Here there is a section called Insert Image. In it there is a section called URL.

10) Paste the link that you earlier copied into this box. Then click Done!.

There you go.... It worked for me. And surely should work for you!!! 1.gif

<ahttp://img42.echo.cx/img42/2484/ig095bs.jpg align=baseline>

I do hope that this will solve your problem!! 1.gif (All pictures are 800 X 600 and below 150 kb)

P.S.: Forgot to comment on your update! It's great!! 1.gif
