Hello all!

I recently downloaded a crap ton of @mattb325's custom RC growable lots, and want to see about getting more.  Anyone have a favorite creator I can check out?  So you know what I like - I don't really worry too much about building ginormous cities (I live in a small city in the Northeast of Indiana and I think Indianapolis is a huge city...been to NYC once didn't care for it) so I don't need necessarily massive amounts of huge skyscrapers.  I very rarely have than many dense R and C zones - usually work with light & medium density R/C

I don't care for the eurocontemporary style, and rarely have it checked.

I like trying to build manufacturing focused cities (i.e. the rust belt US cities), so building sets that model those areas I like a lot (doesn't mean just a bunch of square boring concrete block buildings.  A lot of cities in the midwest have some nice looking buildings)

I like to find an author and go through their files and just hit download on each lot I like, vs hunting and pecking through individual lots.  But if there is a lot you particularly like - I would be happy to check it out.

Any author who specializes or has a lot of unique low wealth residential lots would be sweet.  I am tired of seeing the same row houses over and over in my low wealth regions (I use the no kickout mod...my mayors have enacted anti-gentifrication ordinances, we need the low wealth to have a healthy city, and the high wealth are more likely to be less likely to complain about a commute time than low wealth is.  I am not trying to expand a bus line out to the far reaches of suburbia to get my low wealth workers into the center!).

TIA

jmyers2043 over on SC4Devotion has a number of residential Craftsman style houses, which help vary and dilute the standard Maxis pool.
In fact, anything by jmyers2043 is good, download his whole catalog.
I love the stuff that @dk1 did here; it's been ages since he's uploaded anything, but what he shared was great.

GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.
(I get tired of saying that in BAT threads.)

"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level." - Quentin Crisp
"I believe in talking behind peoples' backs. That way, they hear it more than once." - Fran Lebowitz
"Ordinary morality is for ordinary people." - Aleister Crowley
"No one ever said on their deathbed, 'Gee, I wish I had spent more time alone with my computer.' " - Dani Bunten Berry

Even tho he already commented on this thread, I'm going to add that @madhatter106 has lots of great buildings for a small town or low income area. His stuff fits in so well, I often forget its not included with the game. Also @kevdan25 @RRetail @Simmer2and @SimGoober have good bats.

Nice, just downloaded a bunch of @madhatter106's files - working on CRM-ing them up for use in my game.  I also had a bunch of @RRetail's lots definitely some top notch files.  I have a few SM2 and SG files, need to check out kevdan

    -Edit-
Haha, I was just having a discussion with a friend the other day about how it is weird that there are so many mattress stores in the poor parts of towns, then @madhatter106's low Wealth Commercial Services Vol 1 has a building called "Mattress Mart" - perfect!

@spa makes up the bulk of my low density commercial but he also has some residential packs. He has a lot of stuff on Simtropolis but I would go to SC4Devotion.

While much of our content would be too big for you cities, me and @nofunk have made a lot that would suit your cities. @SimHoTToDDy has made a lot of great industrial buildings.

@IDS2 @Jasoncw @kellydale2003 @mattb325 For me they are among the best active content creators. The night lighting they do is unmatched, they even model the interior of the offices. I hope one day to reach that level.

I also want to make a special mention to @Simmer2 and @Girafe, they are my reference in many of the things I want to do (Paths, RipRaps, Fences, Refinery, Trees, Cars, etc).
