In regard to NAM41: I am building a Tram(GLR) in avenue system and I cannot make the stations connect to the roadway. The station DOES connect the tram rail line however, the actual road (meant for cars) does not make a connection from station ploppable to the tram-in-avenue line.

Here is my procedure, maybe I am doing something wrong.

1. I lay the Tram-in-Anevue line.

2. I delete a 2x2 square and plop the Tram-In-Avenue-Station in that square.

3. I use puzzle pieces to connect the tram station to the tram-in-avenue road network.

4. I drag the one-way road on both sides of the station ploppable which is supposed to make the connection but it does not.

(yes i have tried the "save, exit, and reopen tile" method)

- I can tell the road network is not connected by going to the traffic map and selecting "volume" and "vehicle" and it shows with the highlights that the road network is not connected, only the tram network is.

PLEASE HELP! lol

While I don't know the answer, I've moved this topic to the NAM Forum where the experts hang out. *;)

Sounds like you're doing things correctly... Is it the Data View traffic map you are looking at? That will show a 'gap' in the colored strip over the stations (there's probably some technical reason why...). That doesn't necessarily mean there is no usage. Did you try clicking on the station or the avenue leading into it with the Route Query tool? If the colored arrows appear, there is traffic going through on the avenue parts.

If not, then there may be another reason for it. Are you using the stations included in the NAM, or are you trying others? Maybe an image of your setup will provide some clues.

An image would be helpfull, because I just tried the default TIA station, which is included with the NAM, and was working just fine. As you described the steps, you did everything right, though I tend to use the AVE+EL-rail overclick option instead of the puzzle pieces on straight/ortho lines. With the semi-dragable AVE+El-rail tool overclicking method you can use the Disconnector (located under the highway menu) to erase the unwanted network pieces instaed of bulldozing them.
