Great BATs in this thread! As everyone else has said, it's a shame that they can't be downloaded anymore.

The Cities: Skylines community doesn't have such a mind for preservation with everything being uploaded to Steam Workshop. There was someone early on who deleted their assets and that caused panic. Someone else ended up reuploading the assets. Now, all that happens is disappointment when it's noticed that assets no longer exist on Steam Workshop.

I don't intend to derail this conversation. As I said, this is excellent work in this thread.

With the correct names I found the files and the *.zip as well, thanks! Why i did safe them to "../downloads/sc4/new/for_future_use/airport" will forever be a secret Not that all other dls are in "../downloads/sc4" or "../downloads/sc4/airport" directly, but hey...

Yeah, but I should know, at least after loosing a lot of PEGs content. This should have been a warning - if I like something, why not download it right away? On the other hand, I know I have all of PEGs dls somewhere on an old HDD, but where that HDD is, I don't know

This seems to be one of the pitfalls, if you play a game that old. But I don't want to miss it. After all the hard work that others have put into SC4, it is more up-to-date nowadays, than it ever was.

You're not losing your mind!   I "Americanized/re-titled" all his files when I dat-packed his content, so I wouldn't have confusion in my plug-ins. That hanger comes in a set with a small control office and radio tower. Turns out, I'm also missing a file of his that I thought I had, a synagogue(honestly don't even remember it).

yes and even though most of his content had no night lights it was possible to add some using props

I vaguely remember it. I have a huge folder of German content that I need to plug-in to see if there's any stray WZ content in Bplop. Usually his content is almost impossible to mmp.

This entire thread and especially some of the replies I see warning not to share in public... make me wonder if I could perhaps talk to someone in private about getting access to the resources presented here.

I didn't even have a first chance of obtaining these files as I came here long after the ultimatum @¥$€storm began...

Which should obviously make it clear that do so would be against the rules and any members found to be engaging in such activity can expect a ban, possibly even a permanent one. WolfZe made it clear under the threat of legal action that he would no longer consent to re-distribution of his mods and we as a site have to take such threats seriously. We can not be seen to assist or otherwise be any part of such, whether or not we like that reality.

I simply think that the behavior of this guy is very narcistic and utterly perfidious. The more I read into this story, the angrier I get.

I know that this thread is supposed to have an appreciative tone but I simply can't shake the feeling of sweet Schadenfreude to see his patreon account empty and dead.

As I remember, it was rather benign. One day he was WZ, the next day he had metamorphosed  into "Guest". No drama whatsoever(not publicly anyway).

I have my own private theories of what might have happened, but they are just that- "private" theories.

There are those that fall into the thinking that they can make an actual living on the internet with their talents, but the odds are 1% of 1% of 1% in a billion of that actually happening. You have a better chance of becoming a movie star or the president of Guam. Less competition, anyway.
