Usually what you folks do is making your lot too small in the beginning.

While in the LE, choose a lot and enlarge it to a size *something like 8x8 or bigger like 12x12* (you don't need the groundtextures yet) and then choose the prop, plop it and reduce the lot to a more fitting size to the prop or to your needs.

When the props are like 8x8, they simply need a lot as big as 8x8 or otherwise they will not appear in the LE list. The bigger the lot you start with, the more props you get in the list. You can always reduce the lots after.

Connecting roads from custom lot to in-game road.

I have completed  a number of custom lots with roads. Does anyone knows how to do the one that connects automatically to the in-game road, because mine doesn't 28.gif

My lot editor save as button is de-highlighted. after i open a new lot and edit, the save as button is un-highlighted. wats the reason?

I can't get a darn building on any of my lots!!! >: (

how can I get a building on my lot!?! it only shows parks and rewards!!! >: (

Maybe the SC4 Tool could help..?

i think it allows you to jot down the buildings functions...

I guess your best choice for this task is SC4Tool. It contains a TE editor that can be used to transit-enable the lot. The editor is pretty self-explanatory, in fact. Basically, you see the lot from a birds-eye perspective. Then you can choose a traffic type (road, street, rail, avenue etc.) and its orientation by clicking on the type and checking or unchecking North/South/East/West checkboxes according to the direction you want the traffic to flow.

Furthermore, you can modify the general Transit Switch properties of the lot in another tab - most importantly, traffic capacity and entry cost.

If you only want the building to connect to the road network visually, i.e. without working as an actual transit hub of some kind, you can delete the corresponding properties with iLive's reader lateron.

I must be the dumbest person in this forum but how do you use the plugin manager. I have googled this question and for the love of god i dont know what to do. how do i place models into the plugin manager. Is there a tutorial on what to do as i cant find it. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

ok, I'm a lil bit confuse...

so with the sc4tool, you can do transit network enabled. (both)

but if you only want either (1) you need to tweak it from the ilive reader?

is that correct?

You can also tweak those items with sc4tool using the Exemplar Editor, just set those amounts to 0.
