Considering St Pancreas (Right next to this site) is the station I use when I go to London, I know the area well. Not only do I think the building would suit the area quite well, but like Tekindus said, the fact it's not just another "let's build it higher' is a good thing. It also looks like a typical Google office - a working space with great liveability also.

I'm looking forward to seeing it being built each time I go past!

Yeah, with plenty of bike parking spaces! Every time I go to London I see more and more people riding bikes to work (I guess due to the car parking scarcity and how expensive is public transport). Only with actions and buildings like this, centered in livability and walkability, car-centric world cities can begin moving on to the future.

It is not an area I know at all well. I actually like quite a number of London's newer, tall buildings that have been quite criticised (other than the 'walkie talkie', which I really don't like). Anyway, the investment is welcome, and I can't imagine it being worse than whatever is there now, it is conservative but it's still quite interesting.
