A bank named after fractions? Now I've seen everything.

I'm not saying I will as I'd prefer to do other things. Suntrust was fine as I've heard of it before.

An improper fraction at that. We have them in Michigan along with Comerica, TCF, Citizens, PNC, BofA, Chase, Key, Flagstar...(Im sure im forgetting some)...and a whole lot of credit unions. Maybe that will give you some ideas of a new bank to BAT? lol

So I'm getting the impression that more than one person would like me to make this 5/3 bank. It's more likely I'll pursue it in that case after doing some research.

    5/3 bank.

How's the roof texture on this one? (I don't plan to add roof junk to this.)

Do you have BSC TexturePack Cycledogg Vol 1b downloaded?

er... no. Is it the same thing as BSC MEgaPack CP vol.1 ? Anyhow, that specific name, (or cycledogg vol1.b), is not mentioned in the list of deps, if I am not mistaken...)

Gonna try it with it, though.

EDIT : Yup, that did d it.  You might want to add it to the deps list ? *;)

Also, just a thought for finicky  -- OCD... ahem -- players like me : it would be nice if the names of the lots were available in-game for queries and such (I took the liberty of amending that in the Reader for my own use.)

    Fixed the missing texture dependency.

As for queries, I don't know how to do that for relots.

What do you mean by that? That you see the real name of the building when you query it, like Key Bank etc etc?

    Kind regards!

Yes. Having something called "Blank" kind of throws me. It was easy enough to rectify here as I was testing with an empty, nothing-but-the-deps Plugins Folder, but I remember being really annoyed, as a player, by some lots named Blank or This was Typed by a Flying Monkey or  NOT named at all. When you're looking for a problematic lot in a crowded PF, it makes for long and irritating searches...*:golly:

(OMG, don't tell me I could teach you something ??? *:golly:) It's the same as for lots. In the Building Exemplar, if there are no Item Name and no Item Description properties, you add them (Add Property), you write the name of the lot, you delete the User Name and Item Description Key properties (Delete Property), Reindex and Save.

Ok, that throws me off, too, and five or six years ago, I've decided to do something about it. Since then I look into every file before it goes into my Plugins. Here come an explanation, are you ready for this? *
    1. The name, that shows up on the top of the query window, is controlled either by the Exemplar Name 0x00000020 value in the building file and depends usually on the name the creator gave the building when creating the file or (and that happens only automatically during the creation of a Landmark file) the value Item Name 0x899afbad. When you create the building file for a Growable, that value is NOT created automatically and has to be added manually afterwards. Whatever name you give to the building file (or SC4Desc file for Growables, the building or SC4Desc file for Ploppables is INCLUDED in the SC4Lot file), that will show up in the query.
    2. The name of Ploppable Landmarks, Police Stations or Hospitals etc etc in the ingame menus is controlled again by the value Item Name 0x899afbad.
    3. The name of those buildings in the bubble, when you hover with your mouse over the building while playing the game, is controlled by the so called LTEXT file inside the building file of either Growables and/or Ploppables. It has to be added with iLives's Reader (gotta know, what you're doing as usual), or using the little tool LEProp, done by iLive again. When you hover with your mouse over the Police Station or other Landmarks as an example, you might see addional informations like the Lot Size, Monthly Cost §, Passenger Capacities for train stations etc etc. This informations are controlled by a SECOND LTEXT file inside the building file and has to be added manually again either with iLive's Reader or LEProp again.
You can find this little tool here:

Besides that it is very easy to change properties for lots/builings, this little helper is known for a little bug. Whenever you add a name or description for the first time (means NO LTEXTs are in the building file), you HAVE to press the "Apply" button, then "Save" it, and then EXIT and CLOSE the tool. Otherwise the changes you made won't be saved. You have to do this after EVERY change you make. You CAN'T add the name LTEXT and description LTEXT together. You have to do it one by one. It's a little annoying, but I got used to it. If that's too annoying for you, you can always use iLive's Reader and add those LTEXTs manually. Never did that, be sure you get the right TGIs, so it will work. If you wanna add working LTEXTs manually, you need to add two new values to the building file:
    a) 0x8a416a99 User Visible Name Key (for the Name), and the values will be the TGIs from the LTEXT 0x2026960B,0x6A386D26,0x???????? . The last value depends on the IID of your lot file.
    b) 0xca416ab5 Item Description Key (for, you guessed it already *:8), the description value in the bubble), with the values from the second LTEXT 0x2026960B,0xBC722541,0x????????, where the ?-value again is the IID from your building. If you use the LEProp tool, those values will be added automatically to your lot file.
Growables can only have ONE (1) LTEXT for the name of the lot/building, because Growables don't show up in the in-game menus, so you'll only find the
0x8a416a99 User Visible Name Key and the corresponding LTEXT 0x2026960B,0x6A386D26,0x???????? in the SC4Desc file.
At this point a little warning: Please, don't use iLive's Reader 1.40, which is known to create the so called "Occupant Size=0 bug" during saving your file. Happend to me, didn't know about it, cost me a lot of trouble and time fixing it. I am still using iLive's Reader 0.93, which can be found here:

So, that's it for starters... *:thumb:

    Kind regards!

Well for what its worth, I'm pretty much done with relotting things anyway. I've only got another batch via the RLS Mall relot, so I'll keep using Blam Blank unless one of you two would like to assist when the time comes. I think it would be pointless for me at this point to change things up.

Ok. the only reason to use a "Blank" model in my opinion is a) you're making a lot with actual NO building on it or b) the building model is rendered offset, so it won't fit on the actual lot size you decide on. Others than that, when you have the SC4Model file available, I'd prefer to make the building file with the real model file. But, that's just me. *:8)

Well, text me any time, if you need assistance, and I'll see, what I can do for you, no problem. 'til then...

    Kind regards!

@brad88 All of my BATs should already come with jobs.

Okay, so I've been experimenting a little since this post. Doesn't seem to matter what city. Doesn't seem to matter where in the city. Doesn't seem to matter what roads or how many connect or surround it. I've wiped out an entire city's business district. I cannot get the BATs to have jobs. If this is even possible, I wonder if something I have downloaded is blocking the jobs? Even the new Walmart from today has the issue. Gah!
